I ran into this problem myself and stumled across a completely simple fix. When the screen goes black press + twice to speed up the time comression to 4X and you'll see the scene fade in from black. When it's up, just return time to normal. Seems like it's running, just extremely slow fade in. And i don't know what i was trying to do when i accidentally hit plus but it worked :)

After updating to 1.52, i experienced this with all machine guns, both vehicle mounted and handheld. Funny thing is, the AH6 miniguns are affected, but when i select 4000rpm it goes back to its normal cone of fire..... This is a pic of the spread firing at 2000 rps. And as i said, every vehicle mounted MG as well as those handheld seem to be doing this (save for the AH6's minigun when fired @ 4000rpm). Excellent work. Looking good. I may have to alter one of you models and give him an Eagle plate carrier, plus RIS and ACOG on the C7 to to put "myself" in the game though lol. -
Invisible, undestroybale target

Excellent addon, k@voven. I especially like the flashbang. The invisible target is just what i'm looking for. Now if someone could tell me how to make it indestuctible, i'll be all set. -
Is it possible to create an invisible, undestroyable target with the tools currently availible? The purpose would be to place it in a spot where you want to bring down suppressive fire using the mission editor. I attempted to do this using the invisible H and having units engage it using the doFire funcion but units won't engage objects. They'll engage empty enemy vehicles using doFire, but not objects. There would be no modelling involved which is why i'm guessing it's possible. Maybe just making an invisible H which falls under the enemy vehicle class?

Hmmm. An invisible target addon would be ideal so long as it could be undestroyable.

I'd like to know how to have units fire at a piece of ground for a set peried of time, wether they have targets or not. I want to do this in order to have covering fire from a supporting element while the assaulting element is approaching the objective. I got this to work to a certain extent using a trigger with the doFire function which starts the support group firing when the assault gp enters it, and then ceases once they leave it. A target unit or object is needed to initiate the "doFire" and the problem is, units only seem to engage actual units or empty enemy vehicles when the doFire function is used. And those are no good for my purposes becuase they inevitably die or are destroyed, and then the firing stops. Ideally, i'd l'd like to be able to set an invisible object (like the invisible H) down as an aimpoint but i cannot get units to engage empty objects. Is there any way to get them to do this?

So have BIS said anythin about when (or even if for that matter) they will release a modelling tool for ArmA? The OFP modding community kept that particular game alive for half a decade, so surely they must see the value of releasing modding tools for ArmA. Well, if anybody's heard anything, please post. Thx.
