Finally it works. I uninstalled arma 2 and AO an tried with just OA reinstalled. It works. Dont know if i dare installing Arma2 again :P

the game is patched and the drivers are the most recent. What do you mean by dxdiag?

I only get the messae that the program has stopped working. There is no code og description of any kind. Tried running as administrator with no luck. I really dont understand this

Thei all seem pretty up to date. The strange thing is that the exact same thing happened on my old stationary pc. Arma 2 worked just fine but OA crashed. Was hoping someone had experienced something similair an had any tips.

Hi, I have been having some serious problems with OA after buying a new laptop. ARMA2 works just fine but OA crashes when I get to the menu. All of the "intro" plays but when the menu and startupscene comes everything stops and quits with a message that the program has stoppe working. my specs: i7-2720qm @ 2.2 8192 Ram Windows 7 64Bit Geforce GT540M Any ideas?

1: with my primary weapon (hk416) its quite easy hiting a stationary personel target at 300m. Especially with aditional optics lik 3x, acog or shortdot. 2: Supressive fire works. the sound of bullets snapping overhead is verry frightening and most will hit the ground. 3: In my experience numerically superiority isnt as important as superior firepower. In many TICs the insurgents will have more "troops" than coalition forces but still loose the fight do to theire ak47s and PKMs arent enough to give them the firepower and range needed.

hi. I have just ordered a laptop with the following specs: INTEL Core i7 i7-2720QM/ 2.2GHz 6M , 2 X SAMSUNG 4GB DDR3 PC1060 1333MHz SO-DIMM CL9 (M471B5273BH1-CH9), GeForce GT540 2GB. How do you think it wil run OA? edit: is it right that the cpu is, by far, the most important component in order to run arma2 smoothly?

Hi. Have been looking around for answers to this case but havent found anything yet. I have innstalled ARMA2:OA and patched it to the most recent patch, but everytime I start the game it crashes right after the menu appears. Regular ARMA2 works fine. Any suggestions? Specs: Athlon 64 3500 3 gb ram GTS250 Thanks
