  1. The download is available since the 1.0.0pre release in the ticket linked in the post I linked: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?103871-CBA-Community-Base-Addons-for-A2-OA-and-CO&p=2135662&viewfull=1#post2135662

    It will appear officially on DH once it's officially released.

    Any news about the official version because on many servers I see this :bounce3:

  2. ..looking back at the dxdiag and remembering I'm using two displays, derp, do you guys think this could be an issue? I remember a friend told me to try only using one display, but I forgot to try it out. The crash looks unrelated but I suppose it might be worth a shot.

    Disconnect that LG TV and use only that 17" tft but before you run game delete ArmAOA.cfg first. Update your sound card driver, C-Media USB Headphone Set, because now you use default M$ driver but maybe is better to unplug that USB headset and use onboard sound card...and install chipset driver, too :rolleyes:

  3. I think you have a problem with PowerPlay in your system. Google for "how to disable powerplay" or look this

    Steps:

    1. Open CCC

    2. Unlock and Enable Overdrive if they aren’t already.

    3. Go to Options/Profiles/Profiles Manager. Create a new profile. Under composition make sure “ATI Overdrive†is checked. Save and Close, DO NOT ACTIVATE.

    4. In windows go to: C:\Users\{yourusername}\AppData\Local\ATI\ACE\Profiles (you will need to have “show hidden files†turned on for this)

    5. Open the xml document with the name of the profile you just created (notepad is fine)

    6. Change the values of the Clock and Memory speeds to look like this

    <Feature name="CoreClockTarget_0">

    <Property name="Want_0" value="your 3D GPU speed" />

    <Property name="Want_1" value="your 3D GPU speed" />

    <Property name="Want_2" value="your 3D GPU speed" />

    </Feature>

    <Feature name="PowerControl_0">

    <Property name="Want" value="0" />

    </Feature>

    <Feature name="MemoryClockTarget_0">

    <Property name="Want_0" value="your 3D VMEM speed" />

    <Property name="Want_1" value="your 3D VMEM speed" />

    <Property name="Want_2" value="your 3D VMEM speed" />

    </Feature>

    <Feature name="CoreVoltageTarget_0">

    <Property name="Want_0" value="Voltage need for 3D" />

    <Property name="Want_1" value="Voltage need for 3D" />

    <Property name="Want_2" value="Voltage need for 3D" />

    7. Save and close. Go back to CCC and activate the profile you just created.

    8. Run game and see if this helps you.

    PS. download GPU-Z to see your 3D GPU and VMEM speed and Voltage in 3D

  4. Did you try this..

    Set Power Management Mode to 'Prefer Maximum Performance' in nV CP and see if that helps you.

    ...because maybe you have problem with this

    Power Management Mode: Available only for the GeForce 9 series and above, this feature makes use of these graphics cards' abilities to support different performance levels depending on how much power is required by a 3D application. The available options here are Adaptive and 'Prefer Maximum Performance'...

    However if you are concerned that a game is not performing properly, particularly for troubleshooting purposes, then you can change this setting to 'Prefer Maximum Performance' to ensure that the card is always running at maximum clock speed. Remember that this setting only relates to 3D applications and games, not to the Windows Desktop for example.

  5. This is how LOD switching was on [NORMAL] in the objects detail setting before this patch, but it would drastically improve if you put it on [VERY HIGH].

    Now there's no difference - it's like they decided to remove [very high] altogether and replace it with [normal] without changing the names. So in the pull down menu we now have [very low], [low], [normal], [normal] AND [normal] to choose from. Looks like they went way overboard when "optimizing".

    ^^this...looks like they remove Very High setting for Objects Detail.

  6. Six updater FAQ

    How to revert to an older Beta version

    • Delete the Beta modfolder. Located in ARMA 2 OA\Expansion folder
    • Delete the BattlEye folder from AppData. Located in the C:\users\your_username\appdata\local\ARMA 2 OA folder
    • Manually install the desired Beta Patch: http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php

    To prevent SIX Launcher from updating the Beta when you don't want it, disable "Update Beta patch" in the Options.
