  2. Give the guy a break, he has trouble expressing himself. Wolf, just take it easy, lower the difficulty, A.I. skills makes quite a difference otherwise you will get headshot easily by the over precise bots. Also the Course of Fire are a good to learn how to shoot properly and accurately.

    Mr. Crowe any mission can be used as repro. I experienced this A.I. issues with all Infantry focused showcases (Infantry, Combined Arms, Armed Assault). I will try to get some videos out though.

    This. How can it be that an A.I. is so misconfigured that its turns a pleasant experience into a frustrating one? This is actually making me rage quit! Yes, you read right, rage quit on arma, which is normal for CoD or BF games but not in ArmA. Please Mr. Klamacz, I beg you to shift your attention to this issue, if you have not already.

  7. You could add a black screen for a prolonged time and lock the player movement at the mission start, although you would need to disable any sound as well.

    You mean show up in the during the briefing? I don't use the briefing.sqf file but the initBriefing.hpp so I'm not sure this will work. Use the following code right before the briefing diary entries. "taskOne" call BIS_fnc_missionTasks; Replace the bolded word with the name of your task.
  9. The radio chatter and general voice acting is much improved in A3.
  10. And the KA-60 and the Mi-48 cockpit which is the AH-64 pit...there's alot of recycled stuff in A3, just not as much as in A2.

For those interested in removing NVG from their missions, here's an example for OPFOR: { if (side _x == opfor) then { _x unassignItem "NVGoggles_OPFOR"; _x removeItem "NVGoggles_OPFOR"; }; } foreach (allUnits); Where "opfor" is, replace with the side you wish to remove the NVG and change the Item classname.   13. Someone please smash this bug, it has been present since the game release! Should be pretty simple to correct.
  14. I think the Varsuk turret ring is a misconfiguration of the model and not a problem with the mesh itself.

  18. Metalcraze's problem is not his feedback but the way he provides it because as far as the game itself goes, I agree with him on alot of points. Perhaps its time to get him out of my ignore list now that the shitstorm has passed? You know how he behaves when those arrive...

  21. I think it's better they don't, its has caused more harm than good in the past.
