  1. Hi Colonel,

    i asked a buddy to get on the textures. Here are some screens. He isnt finished, cause there is still some grey parts inside but just so you see what i ment with shiny=P

    Extraction to the trucks i still have pictures but not the link to it. Pappy sent me the links 2 weeks ago.

    Pappy is there any chance of getting the Blue singal light to work like the ones on the MMP medical Unimog. They have a working blue signal light.

    And the back lights of the Riggidhull are a bit to powerfull as you get more light on the back as in front at night.

    I must say very much thx for the nice standing on top of the boat option. It works just great. The only thing is if somebody rams your boat with another one. Then even the cutter get drifted away and you fell off. But that can be solved with just using one boat in the mission:)

    could we keep it real, i mean i know of that OFP had the function, but like Harnu said it was not really helpfull.

    Anyways having a replay or a camera of the death is not real.

    I mean we have discussions about how unreal the 3rd person view is and stuff.

    So how unreal would be a camera that shows you thee guy that killed you. Or your death in a replay.

    You got killed, be happy if you respawn or watch Kegetys wonderfull spectating script:)

  4. Would be really nice of you, cause the grey is cool for the desert, but since your hangar shows a military backround

    (duty officer) i thought i use it on my bases. but right now its really to bright.

    Ill post a screenshot later on and you'll see. I could get somebody just to make the textures and then send them to you:)?

    i like this hangar very much, and i really wanna use it on my island. Now i have one problem, the grey is a bit too shiny for the nogova green textures i wanna use them on, and its supposed to be a military base (barracken addon) green next to them.

    Any chance you could incluede a green or camo version of it in the next version? That would be really nice.

    i havent found someone to make the trucks yet though. Your pics looks nice. The Mg in the chopper could look a bit better:)

    but thats just eyecandy:)

    @ Extraction: Yeah i am using all the new objects that came out=P  Size is gonna be 25x25, inclueding 2 military airports, 2 civil airports, USCG bases and airport, 4 harbors, Training camp and shooting range, Windpark, main power station, several mines and factories. military bases and outposts, big towns.

    and i am trying it to keep it as performance friendly as possible=D

    @ Pappy: The gear thing, personally i think you should leave it on manually only. For 2 reasons: They wont get their gear out on the Nimitz Carrier, sometimes you wanna land fast and will be over 10km/h. But the problem with the Nimitz is most important.

  7. Sorry to say, but it seems that the Multiplayer Role Groupname is given by default, while you still can rename the GroupID in the init.sqs .... The roles on the MP screen and the attached names (Alpha Pink) are read/assigend before the init.sqs so i assume they come from a diffrent place.

    I know that i.E. BAS added custom group names to Tonal, but still if you rename the Group to lets say: ops setgroupid ["SAR","TEAM"] the group will still be Alpha pink on the role setup.

    Therefore i hope they inluede the ability for a short description on the actual role in the MP setup for OFP2.

    So making missions with dedicated roles would be easier to make, cause the players in MP would know what to do if they take that spot.

  8. Yeah the islands still takes a lot work, and i am trying to keep the number of objects as low as possbible with the most playabilty.

    yeah Squill get ofpwatch that wont totally solve your problem, but at least makes the way of getting the addons required for a MP server much easier.

    The use of OFPwatch is quite simple:

    -Install it

    -Run it

    -Select a server in the browser

    -go to addon manager and hit Download & install.

    -depending on your download and the upload of the ftp you download everything:)

    -then click PLAY

    and weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Play biggrin_o.gif

  10. Hi all,

    well i go for the SB Live problem too, since i experience the same problem in combination with XP and a SB Live card.

    Currently took out the SB Live card and useing onboard sound.

    That leaded into even more trouble first time switching cause the Hardware acceleration for the sound was still on.

    Playing a game cause then :

    BAD POOL CALLER -----> Computer restarted itself.

    Turned the Hardware acceleration 100% off. Now it works fine, eventhough if you have a lot of diffrent sounds in games eventually the sound gets stuck or sounds scratchy for a sec.

    I recommend the Audigy series or similar to that since those cards are working better with XP.

    the above mentioned is my personal experience so others might experienced something else=D

    See no reason to change the config for changing the weapon loadouts. Since this is not your addon and i doubt you asked for permission to do so. ( If you did forget the rest ) but it would be the same to create a script that changes the loadouts to whatever you want everytime you create a soldier instead of changing a the config.

  12. Hi all,

    just found a new bug in MP, me and by buddy were testing how the reloader in the challenger (4th seat) improves the fire rate.

    So far no problem, the tank fires twice as fast once he jumped in. But as he got out the Challenger lost all his Shells. All i had left was the MG ammo.

    Besides that we are having much fun driving around in the FOX biggrin_o.gif
