Well, if flashpoint.ru got an interview... perhaps there could be more? It still wouldn't hurt to compile a list of the questions the community wants asked. Maybe an interview would be more faesible if it was backed by then entire community, not just a single webpage. I wasn't sure... I suppose thats another good thing about this thread... if questions have already been answered there isn't a need to ask them again.

Being Pedantic it wasnt a "Fighter" at best it was an missile platform/interceptor. Besides, as much as i like exotic aircraft whats the point of an M3.2 aircraft in OFP? not to be the thunderstorm @ a parade here.. but i have to agree with this statment, not becuz of the speed, but becuz this isnt your typical aircraft... its "crusiing altidue" is outside the earths atmosphere. and aside form the bb space pack, outside 15000 meters you explode in OFP.... dont get me wrong im all for the comonly ridaculed "usless addon" like a 'new pc' or 'better looking laptop' type addons but this one, althou looking very nice, falls way outside the rehelm of useful ness. now perhaps a U2 might be more useful for spying.. thats a more down to earth type spy plane, plus if you get a slow enough sam missel you could play "dodge the sam" if your spoted Perhaps a crashed version... there are always possibilities..

Sounds awesome, if it can be done.. Jumping, make you don't make it like CS or something, otherwise some people won't be to happy. In the end, after the damn things are tested..

Barron, you've kept me up many a night unpending all your scripts for OFPEC.... the main thing I would like to see, is integrated support, much like Snypir's SPT Pack. Perhaps, something along the lines of better enabling planes to pick up and drop bombs on targets... (I'm going into to much detail I know...) it a plane is heading towards a target, and is beween x and y distance, have the plane drop one of its bombs, and have some code guide the bomb to its target...

I don't see how this is possible, or relevant.. OFP is an entirely different game... while more advanced aircraft are wanted in OFP, we certainly don't need something along the scale of Falcon 4, it doesn't matter what type of radar mode in using, not in something that most people play for the infantry aspect anyway. I think the more important priority for the aircraft is better boming and CAS capability.

I can't give a list, Rainbow 6 was a realistic title, as was AA, and Ghost Recon. Flashpoint is at the top of my list though, those are just some other relatively-realistic FPS's.

Hmm, so all they have to do is pass some simple legistation to make it illegal, then they can prosecute to their hearts consent.

I think the attacks on the school are just being used as a way for this to be implemented... a streamlined way to effieciently operate is one thing, removing the safeguards of a democratic nation isn't the way to do it.

The only reason I suggested the LO-MAC forums is the fact that I read the forums regulary, and I know they would probably be helpful... and I'm unfamiliar witht the F4 forums...

As suggested, try a flight sim forum... I recommend the Lock On: Modern Air Combat forums, its a nice community, I'm sure someone there would be willing to help out.

DM, thanks for bringing some light to the subject. I figure if anyone had tried it in the past, it would have been BAS. So, it seems both of these are impossible? But, one more question. About the silencer at the end of INQ's M4... is that just a model change when the SD mags are used?

I played around a little with the HEP weapons pack today, and I shot the 1911 a little, and after watching the slide move, etc., I got to wondering... could the same be done for a primary weapons? For example, if you reloaded, the magazine could be removed, and replaced... The other thing has to do with hidden selections, I think.... (I'm not an addon maker, hence the post.) Couldn't you have, lets use an example of an M4 (since there are many out there, in many different forms). Parts of the model could be hidden, until you wanted them to be shown. For example, the M4 SOPMOD in the INQ's pack. If you give the weapon SD mags, the silencer appears. Couldn't something similar be used to show different pieces of kit on the model, such as different magazines, etc. The only limitations I know of for this is the optics... as they are defined in the config... correct? Any ideas, comments, critisism, etc.?
