Ok Here a quick History Lesson: Vietcong: Vietnamese guerillas aiding the NVA and fighting agaist the republic of vietnam NVA: North Vietnamese Army these guys have limited a airforce which includeds mi-8 and mig-21s Republic of Vietnam: The democratic government in the south opposed the communistic ideals So the vietcong who are mostly rice paddy farmers and traders gone guerillas with basic weapons and supplies that some how found its way to them from russia and china Think of them likes the FIA is OFP, little technology but knowlegde of the terrain and a fierce will to fight Oh yeah and if you do have a vietnam campaign add the french military to go along with it. Heres my suggestions for the sides: West - USA and France and Republic of Vietnam East  - NVA and Vietcong Res  - Generic guerillas and partisans from the South Civ   - Vietnamese civies Edit Oh yeah have camera men and reports since vietnam was the "TV" war Remember you dont always need to replace the hind with an NVA counterpart it could be just an mi-2 or something.
  7. I was thinking the other day someone should make a cinematic island for OFP. It would be used just for cutscenes and would have locations from the real world and areas you can't usualy simulate in OFP. For example you want to have a cutscene where you see the president and his advisors discussing the 1985 everon conflict. So the cutscene island has The White House on it with the front lawn. It is made so you can shoot a shot outside the white house with out anything interfering in the backround. The object of the white house does not need any rooms in it. One or two rooms that look like the inside of the White House could be made in a different location on ground level. Other things you could do with the island is have an outer space or moon section. The ground would be moon textures and the "sky" would be an object in a dome shape simulating outer space and covering the "moon". You could also have an under water section where the "water" is just translucent blue boxs put together so there is like a 500m x 500m x 500m under water box. You could do the same with a cave. You could have US and Russian locations for cold war campaigns. You could have famous land marks. You could also make one the islands "rooms" from the inside of fall out bunkers and submarines and airplanes so you can have a cutscene on an airplane with people walking arround. Ideas? Suggestion?

    The point is to have it for ingame cutscenes for campaigns. It would not work for single missions. Maybe just suppling the objects would be better, but its hard to find the exact terrain for the white house object to sit on and other large buildings. That the only problem.

    Replacing models

    Nothing wrong with replacing the model and sounds as long as the new weapon doesnt give you an advange.I'm even playing mutliplayer with the ffur winter pack right now. (Edited config so I dont have any leaning animations or new animations)

    In OFP you can use enter too to use an action. This helps you with timing for climbing and high jumping.

    Race Day I'm rowing two seat in both races if you know anything about rowing. The picture with eight was a professional photographer and the picture of the four was taken by my brother. 2 (over 100kb) I know I didn't taken these picture, but they are not just some random shot off the web

    Most likely an animation that requires specific named selections. I don't know but a lot of people seem to think that they can change such critical things in addons and still expect it to work. Â Thats the thing that confuses me I look through the script and animation and nothing requires the a named selection. I can't find what the script is supported by and I never expected this to work. I just am wondering if it can work.

    I have a question about the "charging" super jump. I changed the model of the ninja to a bmi black op. For some reason the super jump doesnt work properly; the charging doesnt stop after you jump and it forces you to make a "0%" jump. Then the animation freezes when you land sometimes. I know the problem isn't coming from the bmi blackops because i tried different models and such. All I changed is this line: model="\Ninja__LLU\ninja_llu.p3d"; To this: model="\BMI_blackops\bl_op.p3d"; Can some please help me?
  23. Thank you for the full version. I can never get the patchers to work. This addon is really cool when combined with the ninja addon. (Made a little config edit so one black op has the ninja features). Really cool stuff. I'de love to see scuba gear for these guys to replace the old yet still useful COC divers.

    These ninjas are great. I love to see them in mp. I found a really cool trick you can preform in petrovice (nogova) with the ninjas, There are two 8 story towers side by side. Go in the alley way and climb up one then jumb off midway up. Tap your action key (its easier to use enter than the mouse wheel) to bounce off the walls of the two building and you "jump" up to the top after a few bounces. Fun little tricks takes few minutes practice thought.
