if HL2 uses the havoc2 physics engine, SOF and SOF2 used the havoc physics/damage engine: officially the most graphic damage engine yet to be made (everything could be shot off the body graphically... yes.. everything)

Don't consider, just buy.OFP is more CPU & RAM oriented that VPU.
I beg to differ.. ive got 1.5gb ram, 3ghz proccessor.. 128mb graphics card. and on NORMAL graphics levels OFP runs slow

it appears to be happening with all computers with the latest drivers AFAIK.. but now that ive downgraded, ive got ANOTHER error

I just installed the older nvidia driver and SUCCESS! it works

aye, ofp's been working since 2001 till now
and yeh, the registries were removed
also.. where do I get older drivers? (jus remembered a upgraded a month ago)

I had this problem too for a while... unfortunately, it affects all games, and unfortunately, I didnt fix it purposely... it just went back to normal after a month or 2

no, not at all really... I did install CAT aghanistan (the newest version) but as soon as it started freezing, I uninstalled it

AFAIK, this is due to exiting the intro mission and stuff. How long does it take for you to leave the editor and get back to the main menu?

kk... whenever I run OFP, even if its a totally clean install, it will freeze for anywhere from 1 minute to indefinitely at some point (until I turn off my comp manually)
Ive tried reinstalling to a different folder/different drive, used nomap, changed AGP apeture settings (even though its a PCI card
)The usual trend that I get is that I go ingame, and after a min or 2 it freezes, I press Alt tab and ctrl alt delete... and about a minute later it shows the ctrl alt delete screen thing. If I then go back into ofp, within a minute later it freezes again and 99% of the time I cant alt tab/ctrl alt delete out and I have to turn off my comp/turn it back on again

-make the city a bit wider (wide as in if you were facing north)
basically, what im getting to is that the city, while it has GREAT buildings and stuff (awesome MP sniper fights Â
) its just too small -
but, I must state now that this wouldnt work as a multi turret script unless either:
A) you like crappy looking always upright MG's, turrets
B) you make a complex and confusing anim system
