  1. Ive searched high and low, and that includes the forums, OFPEC, OPF.info... Does anyone have a handy set of links to every BAS demo mission that they released now they no longer distibute them on thier site?
  2. Essentially im looking for good ways to simulate a blackout when a certain powerstation gets taken down. Were looking to plunge a town into darkness. What are your thoughts? I realise that this is probably going to become more of a discussion on lighting a town to plunge into darkness. Mods: Search for "blackout", "light off" and "power" performed. Not much help
  3. I know this idea pretty HL, but I think I would like to see recordable games of some sort. Why? Well I rather dislike having to remember to hit printscreen to grab screeners while Im trying to bring down a BMP. Also, my close knit group of opflashers do want to see the ridiclous stuff we get up to like trying to crush snipers with littlebirds and observing the duo traps the map makers put into maps (e.g. "Speed" busses that blow up after you go under 100kph).
  4. What I value most about OFP is the huge editing resources out there for it. I would certainly like to see BIS fostering an editing community from the word go. So, release at least: 1. MIssion editor 2. Unit editor When the game comes out or soon after. Islands maybe a bit later.

    Recordable games

Now you see flying 1000 m away would require the server to send you EVERYTHING thats happening EVERYWHERE on the whole island. I havent looked at the protocal and execution of the server but im guessing it does not do that. However, it could record I assume say everything that you could see in 3rd person view from almost any angle? That is of course, OFP1 theory and for the moment, I will assume the two are similar. Maybe as a further feature, post game, the demos could be converted into say mpgs or avi's for viewing by those who dont have opflash2. Might be a bit of a download tho.

    Recordable games

Well it doesnt need to be that complex, lets just say something that records what the player sees on screen well. I suppose with an engine like OFP1s it could record everything, but halflife style ones will be ok. Also, as regards to running it server side, again, I dont think that taking resources from the server is a good idea. I think clients should at least have the option to record as well as/instead of the server.
