I have the latest OF 1.46 patch and Windows XP + Cable modem and uses Gamespy for MP. Since I intalled windows XP, I am unable to host a singe game using Gamespy while I do not have this problem when using Win2K. I turned off the built in firewall in XP and it still does not work, pple just cannot connect to me. I am not in any network but direct connection to the internet. Please help me!

Does OF looks great on LCD? Any problems caused by LCD's slow pixel response rate? LCD users please put your experience here!

Cool, thanks guys for your quick response, I bought a 18 inch NEC LCD, model is LCD1830 and it is cool!!! FOR OF, not problem at all with the pixel response rate and the colour is SO MUCH Better, sharper, crisper and saturated than my old 15 inch CRT. Best of all, I can play OF with all light on without glare or with all lights off without tiring your eyes!

I really love the G36 in OF for its accuracy and lethality, but in real life is it really that good? I find the G36 to be the deadliest weapon in the game, one shot no matter where will usually send the lucky one to heaven. I made a mission where a squad of high skilled G36s VS 24 High-skilled Spetz Naz(bizon) in open ground, in the end 8 G26ers died but killed all the russians. Is this normal or the game exaggerated the power of G36?

Most 17 monitors can to do fine @ 85HZ using 1280X1024 and you dun have to worry about blowing up your monitor. Today I just got the NEC 18" LCD which replaced my aging and broken 15" CRT Compaq Moni. It is GORGEOUS, at least I can study and do School work on my computer desk and use my new monitor as a study light! OF looks SHARP and bright on it even at 800X600.

Ok, my computer at first came with a TNT2 M64 Pro with 16MB of RAM and I could play at a very decent and smooth framerate in Operation Flashpoint. My dad's computer's motherboard has confilct with the ATI Rage 128 GL graphics card so we switched cards and this ATI card worked fine in my system, no errors and no crashes, I got the latest ATI driver as well. (The TNT2 used the default WinXP driver a installation, I did not use the Detonators) I re-installed Operation Flaspoint, applied all the latest V 1.42 patch but to my horror when I fired it up, it ran LIKE A Slide show!!! SOOOO SLOW!! This ATI card has 32Mb of RAM which in theory should be little faster or equal to the TNT2 above! What is GOING ON HERE!! HELP!! I really want to play OPERATION FLASHPOINT! Please help me. My Spec: AMD Athlon XP 2000+ 768DDR RAM Compaq Motherboard ( UWAVE ) 1X 120GB Western Digital 7200 RPM HD 1X 80GB Maxtor DiamondMax 7200 RPM HD ATI Rage 128 GL (32MB RAM)

Question about the Hummer in the movie: What happened to the driver's face of the Humvee? That scene where he is blinded by some explosion and his CO has to move the steering wheel for him. I though the Humvee can withstand RPG hits? How much damage can the Humvee and blackhawk take? Is the blackhawk bulletproof?

You are absolutely right, I wonder what those 3 soldiers are doing crowding at the side of the Appache? Looking at some obscene stuff or chipping off paint from the poor chopper to give to their child. At home: Son: DADDY DADDY!! I want an Appache! Anything from it will also do!! The Hellfire missile! You pple notice all the hellfire missile are missing on the Appache? I noticed in one of the soldier's pants, the head of one green pointed stuff is sticking out of his pockets! Wonder what he is gonna do with it!

I know Y the hind has flat tires! No one in Iraq know how to fly it (used as a name to scare the neighbour country only) so when they heard the US coming they soldier slashed the tires thinking it will give the US a hard time to push the girl to base. BUT NO, a friendly russian soldiers who is an EX-hind pilot helped the US boys to fly her home.

Corp.Pihla- It is nice to meet someone in the forums who has actually driven or commanded Russian vehicles in real life. I am always a big fan of Russian army vehicles ESPECIALLY the Mi 24 Hind which I am a big lover of it. So how is you experience in the BMP-2? How is the vehicle like? Fast? Reliable? Comfortable? This is nuts, i think the Hind cockpit glass is made of some sort of 22nd century diamond crap. I fired an entire 500 round of M2MG bullet at the cockpit but the pilot inside is still smiling at me. This is JUST GAY IMPOSSIBLE. I think even Bush's limo cannot stand that much bullets? What the hell is happening here?? Is the Hind REALLY THAT GREAT?
