Id like to think SWEC and FRAGHAUS for pulling this stuff off. Id also like to think all the players whose infinite patience allowed for us to do this. Granted it took a few hours but we did it. After i couldnt fully connect for the SWEC record, i rejoined my guys, the FH regs, at FH. I got there with about 6 people, and in about 5 minutes we had around 20. After that it was all about 100. Well BigQEd and FragHaus have alot of pipe and alot of power. We should be able to do it unless half the server is in europe. And yeah we might have to run sockets (shudders), eventhough i dont think its any better or worse. Anyways if you all want to do something, im sure i can help persuade BigQ. Harb FH Admin

Ok id like to point out that most people havent or cant see any improvments using sockets. It doesnt run better, it doesnt crash less, in fact most people i know wanted RES moved to DP, we did it, and it worked better. Im so sick of this DP vs Sockets issue. Anyone got a site or some charts that actually show the improvments/differences betweent DP and Sockets? *Still wondering if someones gonna answer his questions from before*

OK, lemme get this straight. Linux IS comming for 1.85; and 1.85 only i assume. BUT it will NOT support DP, and therefore NO VON. Now we have tried every 3rd party voice app there is; not one of them works as well as in game von. Thats just pure voice quality, not to mention the niceities of team, side, global..etc. Im just having a hard time figuring out why all this is happening. That is if, the above statemnets are accurate and true. Why spend all this time working on LINUX and not make it DP/VON capable. thx Harb

I dont remember seeing nor signing some agreement with BIS that i must conform and play RES. We have some very large 1.46 communities and leagues that PREFER 1.46 SO to LT.Damage and Tex and all the others like you. ST*U. Im asking BIS for answers and not yer RES loving propaganda crap. They are legit questions. If you dont like us playing 1.46 get over it.

hey TEX..let BIS answer for themselves...kinda who i asked for a reply from. Lt. Damage, its about doing what they said they would do. i also have RES, dont like it too much. Sockets huh...yeah thats why everyone hasseled me to get RES put on DP for weeks. And unless you work for BIS i really dont care what you think they should, and shouldnt do with their time and OUR money. If they say the are gonna do something then they should do it. Damage yer an idiot...if you cant see the irony of my statement and the fact that is still hasnt been proved its fixed...hell its only been 10+months. AND NO NOT all things were fixed. but like i said id just like an answer from someone who works for the company.

so the LINUX support we were told was going to happen for 1.46 isnt gonna happen?? Id like an official answer form one of the designers, because all the posters telling me no are just pissin me off. We were promised linux!!!

OK, wheres the LINUX SO is 1.46 gonna get linux support or what. I still have no offical answer. Ive seen alot of go here, and locks but no answers. And i dont consider "coming soon" or "on the way" as answers to my question. Some people may think those are quality answers but im do not. We have been waiting for this a real long time, and id like to know if alot of us players are gonna be left in the cold again. Im not interested in RES or 1.85 ATM; I just want a yes or no about 1.46 and LINUX. and few things that id like to share: glocks arent that accurate wtf do we need civ bicycles for, this isnt the great escape. THX for fixing the tanks, well that is if i can use any of this or if i have to buy 1.85, it looks about as useful as 1.60 and RES. more stuff to not work right.

thats total BS! we have been waiting who knows how long, and they arent even gonna hook it up for 1.46. Alot of us at FH spent alot of time testing and trying this stuff based on assurances that linux would come. So now its only gonna be for 1.85 I hate to say it but thats not cool. Alot of people hate RES, im one of them. So are we gonna have to pay for 1.85, it looks about as useful as 1.75 and that was wasted. What the hell do we need a civ. bicycle for? I mean it takes alot of skills to make these games but i think some of the priorities are a little askew.

I have it HT, just dont like it. BTW WE RUN 1.46 STOCK NO ADDONS NO MODS How it should be!

Dude, I hate to say it but buying our games give us some latitude on bitchin. Not to mention all the betas and patches weve already dealt with. And i for one think OFPR sucks. A timely and accurate reply is not asking that much. I want to know if 1.46 is even being considered for the linux. I dont give a damn about 1.85

More patience...i dont think i have any more. We have been waiting a very very log time for the support. Alot of teams could lose their homes if this isnt happening. I would rather see linux support than a OFPR patch. I mean is this gonna happen this year, next year? Long Live 1.46
