    Damn has it been that long? Seems like yesterday. I cant even remember how i first heard about it, but i managed to download the demo the first day it came out. And together with halflife (also in DOD form smile.gif) it has never left my hardrive. To me it has evolved from beyond being a mere game, to something that has become a big part of my (nonexistent) life.

    And i´ve gotten hooked on OFP news, im gonna have to take a cold turkey when i leave for the army this august, the only major gripe (is that a word?) i have about leaving is leaving OFP behind  sad.gif

    It will be like loosing a dear friend the day OFP is not with me anymore.

    EDIT: I need to get out more tounge.gif

    Then dont play the campaign, atleast buy it for all those great usermade addons that will come out.

    I dont care if they decide to make it a game about eskimos fighting polar bears, i just want the engine and a mission editor smile.gif

    I moved this from the troubleshooting thread as i thought it was too coinsidental(this being in regards to the lock up upon fireing a first shot):...

    Interesting...I've just spent the last few hours trying to find out whats causing the same problem??...i had thought it was maybe the fact i loaded 5 addons at the same time...the new mh47...the new yak 141...the updated king tiger and rocket launcher and the startrooper dropship...i deleted all the addons and still get the same problem...also, i hear a "Swooshing" sound in back ground that loops.maybe we should spread this to another thread to get more feedback??...im willing to bet its the sounds in the mh-47 that may be the culprit on our systems...hopeing im wrong though<span id='postcolor'>

    I had the same problem and SkyQuake (bless his sweet ass) from my clan, told me it was the dropship causing this, i deleted the dropship and the crater addon and voila....no more lock up smile.gif

    Check in your addon folder to see if you still have that crater addon.

    EDIT: Oh and BAS YOU ROCK!!! biggrin.gif

    Yes I have to agree BF1942 is crap, crap graphics, crap sound, crap gameply, crap game.  But MOHAA is a good game.
