only prob is with the noobs going on to other games is that leaves few people to play with gp is one of the most popular servers aroun the most popular 1.60 me thinks but people only play on it round 9-11ish in the weekends. What happens is few people join do a coop more people come see game is beeing played and they dont want to wait so they go else where while the guys in game ussually drop before even finshing the mission. Most of the time when playing is that we drop too many people and ither haveing heaps waiting or none, it is the best mp game ive ever played but its very hard to get a good game started. If they cab find a way to make jip(if they can have jip in il2 it can probly be made for ofp) i would like to see two differnt game types like il2 has done theres coop where the host can choose a mission and there is no jip and dogfight where u play the same mission and people can come and go and the last for hours and there not even ded servers yet.

the only df2 game i ever bought was df2 after that i didnt look at another one the only thing worth playing it for i found was the mp i used to luv running around in 60people games with my saw and inhuman accuracy.

The cs players might be 22-55 they sure as hell dont act like it, go to one of the cs forums and all u will see is crap about cheaters and nonse posts. U say 1.46 had nothing wrong with it, u might have noticed the mp lag with 1.6 its 100% improvment. Also as kegety said its not your simple join and shoot kinda play theres a hell of a lot to learn, in this cs game(which im happy to say i dont play) u just join and dm away nothing to learn no team mates to worrie about its just about killin, and theres the waitin i have had to wait up to 45mins once. Coop is what ofp is all about lots of team work and things to do. With team vs team they dont last long ususally up to 30mins because people hate waitin and u drop people left right and center. Iwould like to see jip one day that could be customiseable by the mission maker so u could say howmany can be in the game if u can join while its being played etc or can other players assmue control over ai players and so on, not so good for most coops but for things like the rts and team vs team type games it would rock.

now your giving us another screene and a release date, do u take pleasure in making us suffer? because we r, before i could just look at this awsome model and go ill get to play with that one day as i wait for resistance now with a date i have a date to wait for when it is the 28th ill be a day ahead of the rest of the world cept from my fellow nzers and ozzys on the other side of out moat i will have to wait till the 29th. Lookin good cant wait.

in 1.46 there would be heaps of lagg intire games would pratically come to a halt for up to 5mins after we had fill every with with 30 rounds of ammo and they all died at once and other things 1.6 is a massive improvement i hated the voice chat we kept having to ask people to shut the mic off and alot of the time even on fast connections it would become garbled if u want voice get an external prog multitasking is very good in ofp. The server browser is also very good it finds the same servers eye dose and gives u the info u need. The only bugs i got is ghosts and sum very bad joining probs which happen 1/3 times i join a server that when it dosnt work requires reboot its beta tho so wat u expect. Also with all this beta and 1.46 people have been divided between the two sum people dont even know what it is. It wont get to the same scale as other mp games due to the join in progress prob which makes things like massive ongoing wars and things very hard to do. They have said jip isnt possible but we can dream.

i had that to used the factory drivers and works good now, im afraid to touch it now in fear of more probs.

1.6 is great in cars its like single player very few probs i only have connecting probs whick will lock up my internet untill i restart and ghosts but other wise none, the new interface is alot faster and forces people to vote an admin which is good the abilty of the admin to control assigning is good to other than people who dont know what there doing and leave ai on. Support wise ofp has been very good just go to the other forums in their own language u will see many posts of theirs its not easy reading lots and wirting posts in a second language i cant even speak another language. Gameplanets server is very popular with great admin making sure we have many great maps like tank valley, montiac attack operation helltoupee etc, once i tink it got up to 34people but i wasnt there. Also te mods are finally gtting under way with importing there models which i hope sum go retail one day. Mrmax u ask too much of them i dont see u replying to every post i would like to see u try if u did u would reach 100 my in no time.

From higher alt and launching it early u can get 100% hit alot of the time, in multi a guy pointed laser at my foot not only my foot got hit but the rest of me to.

ive got a whole book on tornados in the gulf they had the hardest job of all attacking iraq airfields on their first mission one got shot down by aaa and they flew just meters off the ground the pilots could see people waving at them.

graphics wise u couldnt get much more with out massive requierment increases. Im looking foward to new stuff untill res is out im playing as much crap games and cs clones as i can handle jus to make it feel that much better when it comes out. When i first got the game and loaded it up i thought what awsome graphics the cars look better than those fpses.

i country with outa airforce is a joke, all conflicts other than gurralla warfare are determined by airforce mostly even ww2 was mostly airforce.

there is bullet drop in the tanks and its different per tank te most noticable is the bmp set view distance and try and shoot a tank at long range with bmp u will find it falls way short.

me and a guy where flyin in a bhawk in a coop i was gunner he brought me low over a few ai squads i took out the mgunners and we were free from danger half a meter off the ground the enemy just waved and smiled at us as soon as we touched we where hit by a wave of bullets imediatly in real life u wouldnt stand infrount of a hovering hele waitin till they landed so u could shoot it. Heres an example: a hele comes to a hover a few meters to your left and opens up with its gun, "2:sarge do we open fire","1:no private its still a few cms off the ground shootin it would be against the game code" 1: is down

in multi your alawys typing things like rgr(roger) when voices are already there in the game. What would be cool is a voice menu where u can slect things to say like clear rgr on way contac etc that are already in game.
