The 190 IMO the best multirole fighter made at the time, it could be anything from fighter to night fighter to ground pounder bomber destroyer, it could carry the biggest bomb by a fighter 1800kg, it could carry torpeos, it had more puch by a huge margine than anyother single engine/seat fighter. It was strong, fast, rolls better than anything else, and great firepower.

hind can be multi purpose it can carry ground troops, more resistant to ground fire, carrys a heavy load and is faster, apache has fancy electronics and a little more manoverable, but ild rather have the hind, it can do more, and equiped with sum ultra modern tech it would IMO be the better bird.

there have been worse attempts i think, like in ejipt arg damn funny name, they stormed the airline after the hijacked plane returned and demanded fuel, they had already been thru many countries, one of the people to survive of the few was on tehy had shot in the back of the head when they wernt getting fuel, she played dead amoung the ones before her on the ground, they stormed the plane and the gunfight left most people dead.

in ofp hinds a clear winnah, in real life its probly to, just upgrade its systems to modern day and u have a transport attack helecopter all in one neat package.

the sucess rates for the stinger and streala are very low, my country uses strelas and at a airshow it had a stand on them, i think over in chili its best percent rate was 8% at sum certian alt of the target. 8% probilty of hit, helecopters be a higher percent but these things arnt super accurate, from what ive read su25s and mi24s could take multiple hits.

climb rate would be a big factor, even at low alts, german planes could escape in a climb easly over a yaks, but with a spitfire they cant, turning rates shouldnt be too far different but what makes spit overall better in most areas is speed, climb, firepower, acceleration, roll rate etc. The VVS needed plaens good at low alt not super tight turners, the VVS planes were better in most ways to german planes down low not just turn. A clipped wing spit XIV would be a very deadly plane in the east.

Germans wernt discouraged to fight spitfires because early in teh war they had advantages in speed and climb, the spitv went a long timeoutclassed by 109s and 190s until the mk9. I would reckon a spit be better than yak3 in il2.

ild like to see a modernised Hind, it would probly kik all kinds of arse, stronger faster than the apache, and can carry troops and more ordinance, i wounder if u could have the twin rotor layout lke the hokum then u wouldnt need a tail rotor.

A la9 is here in NZ at an airshow on the 8th march its got 4 23mm cannons its pretty much an all metal verson of la7.
