    nice tute Synide ! can you be more specific ? then what 'N' brush (paint selection color) do ?
  4. define user type anim with gunnerview point as a selection. thus you can try to move it via script and thus shake it randomly. if you need examples - search for any addon with user anims (like openable doors etc) 'reaload' animsource won't help i guess cause it's triggered for whole magazine not for each shot as about text size.. have you tried to play with this value ?
  5. olf ofp technics were not just getpos i can't remember exactlpy but with several triggers/fake models and distance command ASL could be set well in ofp... i guess it will work in arma too.
  6. confirmed old bug i remember GetPosASL-SetPosASL combination was setting unit under the bridge he was staying on. i'd use old ofp scripting methods to get absolute height

    JUst visited OPK website - a lot of german weapons are made by them, but i was referring to PoE mod team. are you working with them too and thus can we expect models featured in there to be ported in arma ?
  8. maybe not as constractive but fair. i'm really bored to see 'wow. it's superb!!!' on every addon released here, no matter if it's crappy wip or smth. I don't believe that it reallu helps. in fact i believe there's no need to improve if noone critisize the wrook. that's my point.
  9. btw, i remember i saw color thermal vision for vbs2 too, but can't find a shot then what's holding the release ? if you can't make an ac130 - make it for apache, will be cool too just like in that video
  10. man, it's ofp port textures are crap for arma, cockpit is far from perfection too. they did a great job anyway, but 'superb' is not a correct definition. Lepardi is fair at least. visit youtube though it's not released anyway. _http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=rc7XXGFWh_M not that much for average player. can you point out what gameplay diffrences we can get with AH64D instead of AH64A ?

    I used to play PoE 2 Mod for BF2 - there're plenty BW units in there. i wonder if BWMod team worked on this mod too ?
  12. suggestion: atm aim boxes (rectangles that appear on the target) in the game are rather thick white and thus look unreal. I guess it will look better with little tweak - changing those boxesto thin green ones. thus it will look like part of the hud in helis/planes. don't know maybe it's already implemented in some addon - i know it's possible so i hope someone will make it.

    light source is a point in memory. you can animate it. i.e instantly move it inside chopper model or hundred meter down under the ground

    btw... can someone explain me what is the reason in wasting time putting already existing in mod tanks in game ? Yes, there're some new, but... frankly speaking i can't see any quality progress comparing to original libmod kv's for ex - If i were yu i'd focus on unique content in much smaller pack that can be easily tested. and what is more important - i hope quality can be improved this way. PS: all russians tanks got red stars on the turret, but i never saw stars on tanks on real fotos/paint schemes... what reference did you use ? Maybe it's bad screen but hatches (i.e its connection to turret) on "Mickey Mouse" T-34 look wierd a bit. i'd lower it (there're pics on the web). and additional fuel tanks on the back were never used while in combat

    your file is half filled with zeroes so there\s no chance to recover _this_ file. I recommend to try R-studio or smth to seee if you can get some more data from your HDD

    there's no way to create anims that will be any good in o2. you can only move leg, hand a bit to match your vehicle. If you want smth more difficult use 3d max skeletone and rtm plugins

  25. If you want new anims you have to make new model.cfg and copy the model. With this 'new' model you can create your own class
