vilas infantry... ok. but armor you posted... just awfull. the worst shots i have ever seen since like 2005 in ofp. you made textures in ms paint or what ? one more normandy... anyone tired already ? have you tried to make ubits fight in shallow water, on the beach ? you'll get unplayble crap let me ensure you. and like every noob mod you want to make everything and at once. But from i see at the screenies i really doubt that huge island will be any good. if you really want to make smth ww2 related - communicated with some more real ww2 mod (if there're any out there atm) get some permissions for ofp conversions, cause with your current approach you get nothing but a lot of ugly crap that is bad even for ofp

prices at turbosquit are insane imho. you got spare money ? then just order proper model for arma specs. i remember there's even paid addon discussion out there

if you want to prove it i guess it's good idea to post some examples of your 'skilled programmer/scripter/graphic designer' work. cause i have never seen a man equally skilled in all of these areas

can you please share some screenies ? c-130 is smth i'm looking forward too it will fire. straight ahead all the time no matter what animations defined

made or converted ? turrets do not work for planes anyway it will rotate but will not fire. you have to do a lot of scripted work to make smth like ac130 working in game, and even with a lot of talent i dubt you'll succeed.

but i guess it's different for different vehicles, and depends on fuel/ammo iirc. thus you can tweak it to be powerfull -

create a vehicle instead of shell that explodes when destroyed. though i don't know how to adjust vehicle explosion -

there're several flak scripts in ofp. in libmod for example. and i guess you're long enough to remember them. Did you tried those old solutions ? -

it's for ofp and won't be that helpfull frankly speaking if you're going make a weapon - search for SLX weapon example -
Aiming sights adjustment for vehicles

I can't get how to use zoom values for optics i guess lower values mean bigger zoom ? but i can't get big zoom even with minFov=0.01 or smth. also i'd like to know how to adjust aiming sights. this is what defines aiming in vehicles when looking down the sights. but no matter how i move these point real aim is a bit higher then optic sight itself. what's up? are there usefull hints to adjust sights ? -
imho it will be difficult not skin such a model (with all this metal details) without huge bugs. i'd recommend resking some standart civil model, but add some t-800 details (like hakf burned skull, hand etc. ). thus you'll get it in quick and easy

ok but still in combat helmet is 100% needed. hope it will be added just like on the reference fotos i posted. i'm glad you like history. i just won't you to avoid fdf errors. Â btw this greatcoat... it can be hard to make it look good in game. have you tried skin the model already ? how it looks with animation ? also i'd like clothes to be a lot thicker. atm it looks like autumn coat, not like winter uniform. though maybe it's only my vision...due to no mittens and felt boots on the wip shot ) and khaki color of the coat is not a correct one - it's always grey (sometimes with little blue hue). the same goes for finish infantry too... looks like summer camo retextured to white. Â are they in winter equipment or not ? light cloth, no gloves and heads ucovered... i doubt they will last long in RL -
will look like crap in arma... find better model then will see

of course. only forst missing value is shown as error. you fix it - you got the next missing entry. vice versa till you get all you need

no entry means it's missing in your config. browse through arma configs to check what it is and just add to yuor config for ex. maxhorizontalrotspeed is turret rotation parameter. smth like maxhorizontalrotspeed=1.2 will work

I guess it's started after i bought the joystick. I got Saitek ST290 Pro joystick, Logitech USB keyboard, Logitech wire PS/2 mouse. Works ok in every other applications (Il-2, Lock On, CoD 4 etc) When i launch the game - keyboard is not working in game. I have to switch to desktop (via alt-tab) and then back in game to get it working. annoying... Reinstalling the game, update to 1.14, uplugging the joystick.. nothing helps. What's up ?
