    Hi guys have finished Desert * Woodlands landies buy BOSS & the Damned will put the downlod link here later on today .here is a couple of pics for you guy to see.

    They are also standalone you will find them under independence

    Also have finished my british troops as well with their new textures. just need to add the new weapons & they will be perfect.

    discussion and not completet

    they have some bugs

    kneepads have the camo on it.

    get rid of the IBA texture... make a proper british vest

    or wyvern full assault or all arms vest

    but overall pretty cool

    For a start the british desert troops do use camo desert knee pads, all you need to do is check on google,& they may also use other types but the ones i saw were camo.

    And thank for pointing out the obviuos as i think every one all ready knows that,& if bis release a good 3D modding tool then ill be able to change that, although i have received your comment well, & will take note of that cheers buddy your a star. lol

    Ps so what modding tools do you use,because ill download them from some where & use them.

    and to finish. since when was it a rule that british troops wore desert camo knee pads

    To finish when was it a rule that they did not use camo knee pads,& i see you also want to jump on to the band waggon lol.stop it, it has all been sorted out now, as i was having a bad hair day.

    And by the way your a little slow on the uptake m8,but cheers anyway for your interesting comments.

    sorry if you miss undertood me..calm down mate..

    it was just some critisism and nothing offensive...

    lol and honestly i work nearly 20 hrs a day righ now to pay my bills but i still manage to do things right

    *beasty aint i lol*

    anyway

    what i had in mind wasnt the fact that the pads have camo at all..

    it was just layed over the kneepad texture which doesnt look that good, you need to turn it abit around

    make the camo chipped, add udst scratches etc etc

    about the vest

    you cand do a very simple retex of a british vest that from the shape is nearly identical to the IBA

    at least it wont need any 3d parts

    check flecktarn.co.uk for that vest (forgot the vests name)

    maybe add some weathering to the cloths

    they look brand new.

    lower the saturation a bit and very slight destauration to knees/elbows to make it look used.

    also add dust etc etc.

    but as i said they look pretty cool sofar.

    but they lack the extra spice.

    ps i use oxygen2 full, modo, mudbox, halon and ps cs2.

    I am realy sorry dont know wot got in to me, but have really been stressed out resontly & have not been getting a lot of sleep has the baby has been keeping me up every night for the last 365 days + & he is warring me thin & also have five other children as well,& i also look after the baby all day wile the wife works its a fall on job lol.

    have been realy working hard on these & sorry i snapped at you, i did not mean any thing by it & again am truly very sorry for that out burst it wot happen again i hope you except my apology & maybe we can start on the right foot this time sorry dude.

    I am going to look in to wot you said & correct those problems. Being totally truthful i thought the same thing about the knee pads & the tack vest but time is limited in my house but will try to address these problems. cheers any way.

    lookin good biggrin_o.gif , nice to see some british stuff. any chance you could also re-texture a soldier model with a helmet aswell?

    I will do when the proper bis modding tools come out,hopefully soon but there is a lot of competition out their & a lot for really good modders, so maybe but if not i am sure some one will do them soon lol.

    Hi, those textures look really good, remind me to "upcoming" UKF Infantry 2.0 based on the BLB Grunts for the OFP. With bigger screenshots or just closer, we could had apreciated more detail on the DPM. Let's C ya

    I concur that the British do use lightweight knee (and

    elbow) pads in 2-colour Dessy DPM with light tan straps.

    The ones on these figures look just fine to me.

    I'd also suggest that if you are going to throw your toys

    out of the pram and go to pieces like this on receiving

    criticism then you'll not flourish on here.

    i was only defending the fact that people should do their home work before they engage their brain & type things like that.

    Like every one should know that to actually make realistic british troops you would at least need the proper bis modding tools which dont exist at the moment, & what was so wrong with that, and yes i can take good criticism as long as they have done their home work first.

    And any way i have got no toys as i gave them to all my children lol.

    And i do flourish with most people that have seen viewed downloaded & also but not least commented on how good they are, so thanks to all who have made the effort to appreciate good quality work from some one that only has kegetys tools & cs2 & very little time thanks again guys.

    And was not trying to offend any one by this & if i have i am truly sorry.

    I also would like to pint out that doing them with a pbo unpacker /packer & a paa plug in for cs2 & also using cs2 was not easy.

    And ive been using photoshop now for 9 years.

    and six children that want your attention all the time plus looking after my youngest all day wile my wife works.

    Hi to all you guys on this forum & hi to the admin this is my first post & hope you like it.

    Here is our finished desert & woodlands british UK troops.

    And the british UK_DPM'S are an update and all are stanalones as well.

    Thanks to the damned & the SFF modding crew for providing the templates, & a very specially thanks to the damned for correcting the config to allow them to be seen with their webbing as well, as a stanalone you guys are the best.

    And thats a bigup massive thanks for all the hard work that the Armed Assault Zone guys have put in to these cheers. Yours BOS_AKA G_H_PLAY.............:)

    Have also done a Desert M1A1+M113 + an actual black blackhawk.

    And have done British woodlands & Desert land rovers all of which can be found on Armed Assault Zone & also Armaholics as well.

    But the land rovers will be released in a couple of days at the latest.
