  1. Sorry to make another post about this problem but i am completely clueless on what is going on here. I cannot find a single post that describes my problem fully and describes the way to solve it.

    System:

    Windows 7 64bit

    Intel i5 ( 4 CPU) @ 2.27 GHZ

    M 430

    Gefore 330M

    DX 11

Running Steam version of Arma 2 : CO with BAF Lite

    Problem :

Cannot join any servers with Battle-Eye enabled and also the game is constantly stuttering after 15 mins of gameplay. This has been solved by running the game in 'Very Low' settings.

    PS

The game was running perfect before this patch.

  2. When i go near the mosque i seem to crash. This error comes up whenever i start near a mosque ;

    Cannot load mipmap ca/structures_e/house\housea\a_mosque_big\data\mosque_minaret_2_mlod_nogq.paa

Question is do i have to reinstall the game or is the a way i can get around it as i am using steam.

    Thanks in advamce

  3. Hi all , Getting CTD.

Sometimes it will just CTD with the windows error ( Program not working) and sometimes i will get out of memory error. Even when running everything on low dosen't seem to do the trick and besides the game looks horrible on those settings.

    Specs :

    Intel® Core i5 CPU

    M 430 @ 2.27GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.3GHz (Intel Boost 2.5GHZ)

NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M Dedi 1GB memory

    4GB of RAM

I have tried command lines (nosplash , memory 2047 etc..) and disabled phsyx

I will not being buying BF until this is fixed.

    Thanks in advance

    Thanks.

Going by the advice i have been given that will not run it. Do what i am doing and spend £50 pound more and get this one.

  6. No, that one's slower then the 5470, like I said look for ones with the 5650 or the 330. Those are the fastest notebook gpu's you're going to get with that budget.

something like this samsung, but there's plenty laptops within budget this acer with 3yr warranty (and I wouldn't get an acer without that warranty) or this sony of a HP or a toshiba, even a dell studio 17 is within budget, although that only has 2GB ram standard. you should be able to get one of those in the uk as well.

Got one ! Thanks so much for you help mate. Processor cannot be helped really best i can do here.

    Intel® Core™ i5-430M Processor

    - 2.26 GHz

    - 2.5 GT/s DMI

    - 3 MB Smart Cache

    - 4 GB

    - DDR3

    - NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M

    - 1 GB dedicated video memory

  7. look for something with an ati 5650 or a geforce GT330M that should run the game. notebooks with those gpu's will probably have a decent cpu as well.

There's plenty notebooks within budget, I know acer is probably the cheapest but maybe you'll want to spend slightly more on a laptop that'll last longer.

    good luck :)

Intel Core i3 dual core 330M.

    2.26GHz processor speed.

    3MB cache.

    4GB DDR3 RAM memory.

    500GB SATA hard drive.

Dedicated nVIDIA GeForce GT 310M graphics card with 512MB memory.

    This one seems better?

  8. My brother has a similar computer.

    Visibility: 2600

    Quality: Very High

    Interface: 1280x720

    3d Res: 1280x720

    Texture: Normal

    Vid Memory: Normal

    Anisotropic: High

Anti-aliasing: Disabled or low (I didn't notice a big hit in the performance)

    Terrain: Normal

    Objects Detail: Normal

    Shadows: High

    Post Process: Disabled

He runs the game very smoothly. But do not try to increase the resolution beyond 1280x1024 It may hit the performance.

    Thank you very much.
