This particular match is just a testament of how good hockey is, and how good it is to watch. All the skill and flair of football coupled with the agression of rugby, awesome. I wish football would play music to pump up the fans in the same way hockey does when the puck is dead. Ahhh I wish I was there.

It should be a very good game. Unfortunately it doesnt appear that it's going to be televised in the US. Are you serious?? Damn, up here in Canada every game is on tv, including all the round robin games. Here in the UK no matches are being shown, luckily I can -just- about get access to tv3 from Sweden. I'm pretty much reduced to only being able to view the Swedish matches, although there's always the highlights. Unsuprisngly my grasp of the Swedish language has improved somewhat over the past few weeks.

Yep, its as Sicilian said, even those servers that do not allow you to use a 3rd party animation pack should not just ban out-right, it is, in essence, the same as people using sound-packs. Anyhow, if a server does ban you off the hop because you have a modified anim.pbo you are probably better off not playing there.

Some leagues have considered using this anim for league play, as after all, corner "hooking" is a glitch, the animation somewhat fixes the problem. Many servers allow its use.

Finland never took part in WW2, or so they maintain. It is claimed, and generally accepted, that Finland fought three seperate wars during the time-frame of WW2. The first being the Winter War against the Soviet Union from 1939-1940. The second being the Continuation War again against the Soviet Union, although much support in terms of men & materials was provided by Germany. The third and last war was the Lapland War. This time being fought against the Germans in northern Finland. Finland was the only democracy to be at war with another democracy during this period (the UK declared war on Finland in December 1940, although there was no instances of armed combat between the two nations.) Sweden remained neutral throughout the conflicts, although many Swede's volunteered to fight for both Finland & to a lesser extent, Germany. Sweden payed a heavy toll for its neutrallity during the conflict, it was literally "under the thumb" of its agressive German neighbours and its iron industry's bled dry to help produce the German war-machine.
