Can't help ya, it works on both my computers.

Blah, common sense, this is OFP! In the BIS campaign mission, it didn't matter where you planted the charges. You could have pointed out in the briefing where you should plant them if you have some triggers at the pillars. Anyway, I finished the thing. Nice...ending.

First post...let's see if this image service works. Somewhere at the Russian border in wartime, a foolish Finn, part of a small patrol has sloppily entered a village and been cut down by a hail of gunfire from one of the houses, the rest of the patrol has called in a squad of Mechanized Jaegers in a BMP-1. They are covering the street right now, not knowing exactly where the fire came from. An officer and NCO are conferring on what the hell they are going to do next: Tell me if they're too bright, etc. Just brightness and contrast added, plus some sharpening. More to come.

Another two bugs with the campaign that I forgot to mention SPOOOILEEERS How do you destroy the bridge in that one mission? I had only two satchels, but they didn't do the job. Were you supposed to use the Russian ammo crates, because they were destroyed by the BMP's explosion. I had to use endmission. In the convoy ambush mission, one of the leaders seems to have a "stealth" waypoint which makes this one radioman crawl forward all the way to the road and spoil the ambush half of the time. In the Scout mission (#14) the convoy behaves really strangely, the BMP and functional truck go before the truck that is supposed to break down. When you look at the convoy in the cutscene the truck that is supposed to break down in the middle of the bridge is just driving around at one of the bridgeheads and waiting for its turn to cross the bridge, then when you say "looks like it broke down" the truck is still driving along on the bridge.

What? never heard of that? Â A link Try Googling, it's a bit hard to find nowadays, but it's the best sound pack after the FDFmod (which is actually a large part KSP).
-
Yes, that doesn't make sense: Why are the AI soo bad at firing the SMAW and RPG? Not only that, but they only have one EXTREMELY weak AT rocket and they don't use the HE rockets against infantry. I wish that you could be able to choose if the AI fire at infantry or not, like in JAM.
-
Yes, whatever happened to the OPLOT? I thought the pack was delayed because of this "bonus"?
-
Same thing with ground-attack planes? Too "aggressive".

You know: Jew-Israel, the mullah's arch enemy. Funny since Israel would probably send every man they have to help out.

Saw it a 2nd time yesterday...still GREAT, but I did notice that oft-mentioned "endless parade of false endings". Twice or thrice the movie fades to black after a semi-suitable ending, leaving the audience confused and almost saying "IS THIS IT!?" The Charge of the Rohirrim sent shivers down my spine! Brr!

SPOILER That officer who briefed you in the sniper mission...seriously, he sounded mentally handicapped SPOILER END Sorry, but it's the damn truth...just thought you might want some feedback. He could have done better if he would have rehearsed it once before reciting it. I won't finish Scout while waiting for the patch, then? Is there no way of advancing?

I used endmission after shooting 20 times, to be honest.

Ahh, great work on the campaign. SPOILERS FOLLOW: I am on the repair convoy ambush mission in Finland right now, and I must say this campaign has been the best campaign I have ever played, even better than the BIS ones, and it made me remember why I love OPF! Truly GREAT work! The usage of animations in conversations is great (the nightwatch mission where you watched the civilians was nice), and the voice acting is good overall, I don't know what the campaign would be without it. That said, two voices were really shitty. Your Captain in the mission where you attack the three villages with NATO sounded like he was reading the monologue from a script. It was the worst voice acting I have ever heard. I hope the criminal is reading this Also, the "American accents" sounded embarrassing. Too bad you didn't have access to some real Americans, eh? There were many smaller bugs, and I had to use endmission on the NATO patrol mission but... GREAT campaign!

Finally, they're here! Great quality all around, here's some issues I have with it. 1. The tank crews - there are two guys, a "Sovjet Tank Crew" and a "Tank Crew" for both the winter and normal category. They are exactly the same, and how can one of them be a "Sovjet" (spelled wrong, supposed to be Soviet in English) when they both have the Russian Federation flag on their arms? Something you missed? 2. Also with the crews - I'm on shaky ground here, but is it really plausible for modern day RF tankers to crew 50 year old T-55s? Even if it is, a Soviet tank crew would be good as default for them. Just a suggestion. 3. Machineguns - Not too sure about this, but can a tank IRL fire 2000 rounds from a PKT in a ROW? As it is now, you don't have to reload at all. Even if it is fed from just one huge-ass belt in real life, the PKT has got to overheat if you fire it for so long? Or not? That's all for now. Thanks for the great tanks. Keep using cargo proxies, they look great and are very useful!

Yeah! Go FDF! I wasn't expecting another patch so soon...thanks. So what's next? The Winter War?

Colossus: Finally! I've been waiting for this. DiabloTerror: Finally another Norwegian mod.

Pictures?

That's a bug with the original M113 too, and by extension all retextured/modified M113s. Also, the INV 44 Halftracks have the same issue (which is really ridiculous, they don't have any kind of shields and are still invulnerable!) Something with MG gunners and the "armored" class?
-
Don't make a fool of yourself, Jared LP. People like you are just making your country look bad to the rest of the world, which I know it really isn't. It's great to be able to think critically. Your post is resemblant of a stupid American kid who has never in his life cared about politics and is now taking a "stance" to the Iraq issue by patching together every piece of stereotype of The Rest Of The World that he has seen on South Park, Friends and sometimes mistakenly on Fox News, then frantically throwing them at us. You're not really cut out for this.

IMO that's a Bad Thing â„¢, because every squad needs an MG for supportive fire. Why do you think real life militaries use LMGs? (Not aimed at you, Hellfish. ) tell that to the comm... red.... erm, russians ..... Ah, got to get this cleared up : The Russians in this addon should have an RPK with a larger magazine and higher recoil to make it more like an LMG, just like they mostly use larger mags and certainly have higher recoil IRL. My wish.
-
Read about this a few hours ago, really tragic. Wasn't it in Iran where one earthquake killed 35,000 people in 1991 or 1990?
-
IMO that's a Bad Thing , because every squad needs an MG for supportive fire. Why do you think real life militaries use LMGs? (Not aimed at you, Hellfish. ) @R71: LESS recoil than the SAW? How is that possible? I'm playing OFP on FDF mod with increased recoil and I can fire it like an assault rifle on full auto while standing up. Sure, I've heard that the real FN Minimi has very little recoil, but really... It's a super weapon, I hope the recoil is increased a bit.
-
i wouldn't be talking with you if i applied these methods IRL OFP can be really relaxating Well, we can all thank God that you bought a copy of OFP, then.
-
M240G, definitely. I agree that the RPK is really mismatched against the SAW, I mean, 45 rounds? A drum mag with at least 75 rounds would be great for the next version, right now the RPK is basically an assault rifle with an extended magazine, not suited for suppressive fire at all.
-
You're right, now that I see the links it doesn't look like the Swedish camo at all, but I think the screenshots/the textures make it look like it.
