Now now, I couldn't make an addon like that and it's a good stepping stones for other things, but I'll play giraffe for a month if someone uses these in a mission. That's not to say it's bad.

agreed Agreed, these official silences shouldn't exist since they pick and choose which innocent lives are worth remembering. edit: I had the ribbon in my sig too, but it's just these mandatory (in our school), public silences that I just don't support.

I really like Hunter's static anim, just about perfect, I think. But the crouching anim, hmm, I would prefer the BIS anim with the arms modified to actually aim with the rifle, Hunter's anim there is nice but doesn't look...universal or neutral enough.

Are there any SK units to go with them? If not, it would be a bit useless to make just the SF IMO. I do think there were some NK units a looong time ago (still O2), will have to check ofp.info

Don't forget about hires skies and water. And it's bringing OFP to a new *cosmetical* level, under the hood it's the same engine with frustrating limitations (great engine, but not perfect), altough ECP has using it a bit more practical in some areas.. -
The pic idea is nice, but it could use some brightness, sharpening and cropping away of all the radars, command menus etc, IMO. Just came back from an INV44 MP game, here's a Wehrmacht recruitment poster or something: http://ofptf.ofpr.com/hosted/Gollum1/wehrmacht.jpg Do his arms look slightly... square to you? Yes they do, it's just the INV44 model in that position, nothing LOD- or editing related AFAIK.

I would say so too, the B-52 is from the '50s IIRC. Edit: Fas.org sez: B-52 '62, A-10 '75.

I like the long burst. Suggestions: With the BIS Mavericks, you can kill 8 tanks in 8 seconds. It makes the A10 very overpowered, IRL you would require a lock-on and it would take a LOT of time to identify targets and lock on for 8 missiles, so I think at least a 3-second "reload time" would be great. Also, the HUD idea is nice, and the graphic could be changed since right now the optics are nothing like what you see in 1st-person view. Otherwise, it's very good.

Sometimes you want people to have the guns on their back (or you want to use the 'put weapon xy on back' option). It's just silly when all that happens is you carrying the gun in front of you... That shouldn't be the case. Yes it should. If soldiers are on "safe" (in real life), they keep the weapon slung across their fronts with the safety on. They also keep the gun on their backs, but that's rare, soldiers on guard duty/patrols (like the situations in OFP) pretty much always keep the weapons in front.

Yes you know, if you don't have anything nice to say about pics, don't say anything at all. It doesn't lead anywhere but flames and PRs, like Antaris said.

Great, IMO they're now exactly as they should be! Perfect, but now for the weapon problem... I'll have to stick to init line filling for now. -

OK so it's a beta, suggestions: The crouching anim wouldn't offer any support in real life, you would easily lose your balance because of recoil and it would strain your feet/legs too much to saty in that pos for long. Usually when you crouch that way you use your knees for support, why do you think kneepads are used by U.S SF? Prone anim, the gun has to be at the eye, otherwise it looks a bit stupid. How are you going to hit anything while holding your gun to the right, away from your eye? Besides, you don't get a good view of the increasingly good-looking gun models. The running anim is OK, maybe the head should move a bit less, and the springting anim should be improved. The Safe anim doesn't look safe at all, the soldier holds the gun so high up that it looks like he's being very careful and advancing in a hostile area. Rather, they should have the weapons casually slung across their fronts, or hold them there. It's looking much too dangerous to be safe right now. Also, is there a way to change the reload anims? Right now the soldier snaps back to the BIS-folded knees position when reloading. Good pack, overall, I think I'll be using this over the Dreamy Knight anims for a while. Altough the DK pack is superior in those areas mentioned, IMO. Keep up the good work. EDIT: Standing anim looks cool, but the weapon is held too high up and to the right, and I think the standard is to hold your weapon by the barrel, not the magazine. It looks nice anyway.
