I don't think bmarcangel knows what bling means. And what kind of a lame name is OFP soap opera, more like SECRET LIVES OF OFP And OT we go... edit: Posted at the same time as Hellfish

bmarcangel is the stalker here, altough I might let Hellfish rescue me from him by PRing... Do you think we could make money off of this?

FDF is the opfor Haha, didn't think of that. Are the Swedes on West or Resistance, can't remember?
-
Rockar fett...vem talar faktist sĺdär, utom, ja, svenska trettonĺringar. Ta inte illa upp, det lĺter bara sĺ roligt. Anyway, the trailer looks great, I fell in love with the helo with cargo anim at first sight, can't wait to do some combat recon with that thing. What's its name btw? You hurt my pride by destroying Russian T-80's in the trailer, do you really think they could have gotten through Finland? (Let me dream for a minute more...) Unless Sweden is doing the invading, 17th century style The weapons, their sounds, soldiers, vehicles all look good. Any plans for included Opfor, like in FDF mod?

Who are you talking to

I'm so confused. Are you a BIS or a BASS forum moderator? Look for him here

Mortars are routinely carried along for assaults in FDF MP. More useful than portable MG's for assaults, while MG's are better for defence. Mortars can make all the difference, and because of their range you actually have to move them close to the target, about a forest or hill away. It just wouldn't work if the mortar is firing from 1 km away, from the base that is normally the starting point, way too inaccurate. In short, carriable mortars are very useful and should be included IMO.

If you shoot a majority of the units in a group the rest will try to retreat and regroup. A typical infantry squad in OFP retreats and gets disorganized when their officer and at least second-in-command are killed. So when you see an enemy formation, aim for the officer (obviously) but also the two men next to him. If you get them, the squad will be unfit for combat and the firefight will turn into a turkeyshoot, dropping panicking enemies with shots to the back.

Great, another Metal brother. Sorry, cranial meltdown.

Actually, two of them were wearing Marpat, the third standard U.S woodland. I suppose that, like, say, the Georgians lately, they have received much support from America.
-
You just try it, Moby. Speaking of Marpat camo (the background of my pic), I today saw a picture of some very scruffy-looking bodyguards of the Uzbek prime minister (?) wearing Marpat suits (100% sure) and just a few ammo pouches with AKS-74U's. I thought that was very strange, did they order the BDU's over the net or something?
-
If so, he would have been 12.

It's Moby!

WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE THEN?

No need to describe, here's Batdog's OFP player gallery pic.

No, don't run! edit: Because of your encouragement, I, intoxicated, am now my avatar. Congratulations!

Says one who has not a scrap of information in his profile, you wuss.

DShK So, a standard Soviet HMG 12.7 mm, 1939, phased out in the '60s and '70s in favor of the NSV.
-
That's very cool, never knew about that...might make some Marine mission there.

I'm missing the irony. BTW there was also a version with 6 CD's or rather, I think that is the standard version. I bought my DVD drive three damn years ago, anticipating that games were going to be on DVD soon, and only now do I need it, it's just that the games that need it are too much for my computer three years later Goddamn it.

I read that this cycle also reduces the rate of fire by a few(?) rounds per minute, so it is obviously very impractical.
-
Wouldn't that fill the turret inside with gases from the smoking, fired shell (don't know if they actually produce any vapors after firing?)? It just seems a bit strange that they would rattle around the floor.
