I am not trying to make everyone stop trying, I would love to see multiple working gunner positions on aircraft/land vehicles in OFP, and I look forward to seeing Col.Klink's boat in action.

They are MUCH better at dogfighting (why is that word so hard to spell for me) with 1.96 but they randomly crash into the ground and trees, not pulling up in time. And the autopilot problem.

Impossible. If it was in any way possible BAS would have done it ages ago, I'm convinced of that. You know, BAS is not the superman of Addons, there are some things they can't do. So, please, shut up. BAS, Kegetys, RHS, (FDF?), and numerous other smaller teams all have failed in making this work. So please, don't f***ing ask me to shut up unless you have devised such a system yourself.

So how does this work in OFP, in practice?

You heard it, the OFP engine's limitations. BAS have always been pioneers and made many inventive workaround solutions for the game, but there is a limit to what you can do with the engine... BAS was trying to make new features for the SEALs and other addons, not to just make them another set of nice models and weapons, but the features they planned are apparently not possible. That's my perception.

I played the demo and uninstalled it immediately, same old BHD crap. My friend got it and he said it sucks big time.

I'd like to see him try to get into a crowded café. Or I wouldn't, but you get the point But anyway, that guy seems fit for military targets.

Hmm really...no SEALs that were looking done 2 years ago, no Littlebirds that you so hyped, no Landrovers seen over a year ago, no finished Tonal...Tonal was and still is the best BAS addon, but feels more like a beta, sadly. I don't get it. A very unworthy end of BAS, in my opinion. I guess this ends the "IS BAS DEAD!??1111" threads.

There are mercs fighting mercs in Iraq? I do think these are more government-employed mercenaries, meant to offensively destroy the rebels. Private security contractors are different, you don't see Blackwater men conducing raids into Iraqi towns, I don't think the Coalition would be too happy about that. And why would they? They just provide security, but they see their share of action.

Do I play Resistance? I play Resistance every time I start OFP, I can't even start it without the expansion. What kind of a question is that? If you mean MP, I play coop on servers with people that I know, mostly...

The weapons are Earl's and they're top quality, is it really worth it to make a new pack that would take s**tloads of work and maybe not be as good just to change the calibre of the AK's? I know I won't freak out if they use AK-74M's instead of AK-107's. Yes, every single merc doesn't use AK's IRL, but maybe these do? They seem pretty much fictional anyway.

While that would be nice I seem to remember quite a few of the BAS crew are NOT Americans so the 4th of July really has no signifigance to them. And these are mercs, not U.S soldiers or even Americans probably...
