Yes, FDF mod has a high-quality Maxim and L-26...I think this mod's Suomi and rifle look a bit better than FDF's actually. Keep up the good work, anyway.

On Delta Labs 1 now...playing with some mod that I can't remember the name of, adds small flashlights for most weapons, improves some weapon sounds (shotgun, pistol and machinegun sound awesome now), changes flashlights beam, melee zombies must be gibbed, etc...can't play without it. D3 can become too repetitive but the graphics and atmosphere are great. The atmosphere of the early levels is lost later on when you react irritated to the predictable imps spawning both in front of and behind you instead of being scared. The appearance of the enemies becomes sooo predictable. Enemies follow patterns, spiders crawl out one by one out of one hole so you can camp it etc. Sometimes you just want to run through the level instead of admiring the graphics and enemy placement like you did in the early levels. Too damn many 'industrial zones' and dark hallways, more variation please. 2.8 P4 (clocked to 3) 512 mb DDR400 Radeon 9600 XT Working great on 1024x and medium quality, I can also run fine on high quality but then some of the rare choppier areas become almost unacceptably laggy, shame really. that aint good for urban combat. Guy with RPG on top of a building could fire on top of the tank 1) The Stryker isn't a tank 2) All armored vehicles are vulnerable at the top/back 3) Strykers will most likely have their enemy at such angles that the cage is effective. An RPG on a roof is a nightmare for every vehicle crew, caged or not. Nobody said the cage is perfect, but it seems to provide good protection in most situations. A top cage would most likely impair the vehicle's capability in some way, I'm sure it has crossed the designer's minds that top attacks are bad. Bradleys have been reported to stand 1-3 RPG hits with minimal loss of capability in many situations. M1's soak up or deflect RPGs at the front, but are again vulnerable at the back, a conscious compromise on the designer's part, as with all MBTs. And it's bird cage. Lots.

Hrrmhmm, if it does turn out to be crap I am very disappointed, though my feelings are nothing compared to my friend who has been an absolute AvP fanatic for years. The PG-13 does not bode well...it seems a bit too...clean. Ah well, I'll be optimistic, it can't be a complete trainwreck with this premise and what I have seen from the trailers.
