fully working. Status so far: All weapons ingame (8 handguns), correction in placement needed for 7 of them. 3d sight works, textures looks OK. Right now I am improving the code, (to get them quick ingame and try I used same config for all of them, now I am writing the magazins, how many rounds, modes and reload time). Inventory pictures looks nice. Will probaly be released within 2-4 hours. Depending how much chatting and if I have lunch EDIT. Two progress screens: The sight, as you can see need small correction to the left And then 7 weapons more to correct.

because discussion is banned when it comes to addons, mangement of the board. Only allowed in the off-topic politics threads. Even if this is called "addons & mods discussion" it is just for telling eachother how good they are. If this was the "The Emperor's New Clothes", the ending would be the beheading of the little boy that dared to speak up.

good morning. The weapons are fully funcitonal, but couldnt hold two weapons at a time so i laid them down next to eachother. Just got up and is fixing the rest of the guns. I will use my own tags and the handgun project isnt made for me to make my own OFP mod but the way I discuss the matter of CWR, the topic is closed so had to start my own addon thread. My point is that you all been mentioning. If you gonna import ugly bis ofp objects, why not start? I have shown it is possible. Most of the models is houses and bushes, this things are easy to convert. While vehicles have to wait. In order words, no need to wait for the tools. If you gonna make new stuff, why not start doing those high poly models. You can most likely use 3dmax and then export or o2. No need to wait for the tools. If you HAVE TO wait for the tools, what tools are you waiting for the config writing, Notepad isnt good enough? So this is half serious addon, 100% serious with what I try to show is possible to do for ArmA right now, and not just sit and blame it on "waiting for the tools".

hope I dont cause as much attention, but due to requests I made a guide for how to import into ArmA, maybe some good for CWR aswell because I know some members doesnt have so much experience... Step by step guide

Exactly. Every further post about Unsung here will result in -50 for your post account. GranQ +1WL for continuing the OT after being warned. I guess OT means off-topic. please at where i keep discuss something not about CWR after being warned? I would like to press the "report to a moderator" but I guess that would be you. Please judge me, but dont go witchhunting just because i say something you dont like. "dont argue with the mods", okey fine. Well, "follow your own rules" i say. its not off-topic. clear up all the unsung stuff if you want, but my picture and the next reply is ON TOPIC and CONSTRUCTIVE. Ban me if you dont like me, but please then just say instead of making up things that isnt there.

lets not get off-topic and end it here. No hard feelings man, but a screenshot is a most of the time a promise and Unsung didnt live up to it. Could be tons of reasons and it doesnt matter, my first stuff was poo.. EDIT. Oh, even if you guys seems to forgotten, and me included.. i done some work for Unsung.. so please dont take it as an assault on your work..

Long boring post Hmmm I might have not have understood you correctly but Unsung... failed? yeah I take that back, had a discussion with Redkid about it. (Won't edit my first post for sake of of not making you look like a fool ) But i do however feel Unsung "promised" to release a new generation.. and it was so filled with bugs me and my friends uninstalled it and used SEB NAM 2 instead.. so maybe it was just a personal disappoitment.. I give them that they DID release something.

I know this might be to push it, but i think it is constructive, maybe it was overreacting, I even asked some friends to see if it would be within reason (they said no so i presumed it was close enough). Anyway, I think it was constructive since it did point on the issue, also showed i done some creative for the CWR goal.. (to import OFP stuff to ArmA). I would say it was a post that had some humour, was creative and constructive, helped people with a vision on how the final result can be and inspired a discussion about the CWR information sharing policy. Now, I might be wrong here, but I dont see so much other posts that are so constructive but more a team with "we might do this, or that.. just be sure this will be cool we let you know when its done". It just remind me of a number of projects that all failed. OWN (the swedish mod), "Unsung" and before that the vietnam mod from seventh. Normaly there is a saying that the most dangerous a leader can surround himself with is people that only says yes. Think about that next time someone criticize. And I would totaly understand if you warned me that the language was bad, but don't say its not constructive, it is.

oh, maybe i should checked back alittle. Yeah totaly agree about the sound, not only the source bad but the setting is awful, the "background noise" gets louder then the engine when going fast (above 50).. but for hover its OK. once again, this was just a good bye and now our server is down and dead so too late to download it. Shadow, i dont take any credits for it, i just mixed with the textures, made the UN sign and tweaked it.. the model is Uggas and he probaly. i guess you thinking "hkp2".. trust me you wont get it to look like one without alot of changes, better of with new one however its OK by me if you whish to edit it, just ask Ugga aswell. Yes, blackjack, If i understand what you mean, its a "proper" binarized model making the textures reflect better, making it look better then it is and i wont say hello to the girls, but please come and take them and leave some brunettes.. cant get enough of that =)

An excellent idea, especially now when SFP are releasing their update 4.1.7 yeah well we are dead.. but it is nice to see people still want to use or addons. ( for download sfp 4.1.7 go check www.anrop.net if you are a swede) Back on topic, the SLX is incredible.. enough said. Put a new standard on things with ArmA around the corner, OFP is still "stronger" simulator.. good work...i mean excellent.

You playing this great coop that takes sometime, you feel right in it and then two dead players get bored and start to talk shit. BIS please consider put in a deathchannel, not force people to use it but if they talk it wont be shown to players that are dead. Guess one way to do it is to make every mission with a script that makes the dead people join civillian side, but think this should be a easy fix in some patch later on. No hurry, we will be playing ArmA in 2010 anyway..

yeah i dont want to force people to use it if then dead, but give them some channel to stay ingame have a talk while waiting, but being able to switch to global and talk with the players if needed or maybe respond.. how many times havent you done the. dead1 "restarting soon, half team dead anyway" Alive player; "sure, more fun when everyone is alive.. but let me kill this bmp first" dead2 "next time we play we should..." but then sometimes you just want the dead people to stfu. irc thing works and so is TS.. but lets see what bis can do with ArmA first..

I can tell you already now, you will be liked in the OFP/ArmA multiplayer community, why.. because you are humble. And I think this isnt at all something you expect but you would probaly love this. Welcome man.

then thats his own problem, it is already possible with playing 0.5 in OFP, or 0.2... i used it alot when i tweaked my weapons. Firing a M136, slow down right before it hits, change camera view and see where it hits and what happens. I feel sorry for people that doesnt have enough self discipline, you guys always use cadet mode and put every help aid on? I mean you could do that..

As seen on ofp.info, great with a light from the lighthouse but please, the nights are not in black and white. Its a "effect" that dev probaly think is cool to apply, but the result would better without it, nights arent black and white, esp not if you have a lighthouse or other lights. .The picture with lighthouse

I think it's because your poll says "Are nights in black and white?" Of the two answers black and white is probably their choice because this screen appears to answer that question with, yes at the moment the nights in ArmA are black and white. Â I think it's an easy poll to get confused by. ah sorry for that.. but could explain it.
