  1. To sum it up: Don't talk about other teams, this is only CWR. Don't ask about progess. No information will be answered. Don't make comments that isn't constuctive. Don't ask to join, no more members accepted. Don't ask about release dates, you won't get one. Don't discuss the CWR team in a "negative way". Don't not discuss the tools. Posts gets deleted. Don't comment on why this thread is a sticky. Just accept it.
  2. it works for any vehicle with one turret, or atleast its designed for it. (so the commander machinegun doesnt get rearmed on tanks).

    Fixed the marker stuff so you see all friendly sam sites, no matter if a friend or AI bought it. Yet to fix so each player has a marker with his name. Tweaked the ai little, think it will be a bit more agressive now. Need to see if I can find include some advance ai behaviour script on the "unit level". Maybe urban patrol script.

  6. well here is another one, bmp2, a10, ural, 5t truck, m1a1, uh60, mi17... most things are already ingame in ArmA. So will CWR use these ones and add new ones to match that quality or what can we expect? The bikipage just tells us the t55 will be a import for "prototype testing". What about stuff thats almost the same but not really, like the car red, MASH tent and buildings. (ArmA got the same buildings but diffrent colors, Petrowich would be the same with the red houses thats in ArmA).

    about the btr80 error, its such small thing. The nvg script should be in the mi24 folder and all events and stuff should be right. This is the easist fix for a update.
  8. well its "done".. (bugs). Eric, think about it this way. Download the RHS hind, use the config and read all the bugs in our thread. Then you know what to do to surpass us.. and mines version would really rock. As you say it would be stupid to stop now, I say dont try to rush it but keep as your baby. Improve, add parts when the community "goes a head". Like there is some anti air defence system with warnings for the planes and stuff like that. Will probaly come other cool scripts, tracers and so on. Dont forget, its easier to strike from below then staying on top, so there is still hope for your Mi24 to be the best. (and it doesnt really matters does it, its the creative part thats most fun anyway)

    the problem is that you guys have already played with it more then I have. This weekend I been going ingame.. "yeah the rotors spin, the gears retract, no error msg. great".. and thats it. I even havent played the singelplayer mission yet, life as a addon maker sucks sometimes.. Can also tell you a story from my work with SFP4. We KNOW the code, so we knew about some bugs. For 2 weeks we worked with solving a bug that would occur if 2 players ejected from one plane (special twoseater) in multiplayer. We couldnt fix the bug, but it was the only one we focused on. So we released it anyway and got reports on maybe 10-20 bus, but nobody comment on the player ejection bug.

    great,could been used on MI24.. now its "cheating" with a script. Also want dampers on the be32 plane, makes the plane feels more heavy when you touch down.

Turkmenbashi See if redkid can prepare some love act animations, then I see you ingame..same server as always, and no firewall. I love to play without protection.

    Bit impatinent arent we? I said easter present and i dunno how it works for the rest of the world but thats sunday and monday for me this year...     us trucks dont know about, the btr80 I had big part of.. and still dont know what you talking about Like for the choppers, rotors "disapper", its one model, but thru config its "hidden" when damaged. The btr80 use diffrent types of textures.

    in short this is what have happen. Mapfact is the first to release a chopper with a turret, "oh this saves me time, i just do a "Mapfact_Ah64>replace with>RHS_hind".. for the cfgmodels and skeletons. Everyone was happy, and then I sent to shadow and he was like "omg, the rotor wobbles like crazy, this doesnt work". I tweaked but thought it was kinda good, couldnt understand why he complaied hardly notice it. Then he (dont ask me how) but noticed that if he removed the Mapfact chopper it suddenly behaved as it should. So I took a look.. mapfact have made a config and "overwrites" helicopter class and their config "forced" them onto ours. Then i basicly removed 200 lines of code and remade it, so hopefully now its all sweet (and yes shadow, got rid of the error bug) and don't sue me if I am wrong but this should be safe with other addons, unlike the mapfact one. EDIT. Thanks gnat but it doesnt help, I have no problem with wheeled, chopper and so on.. but for planes I just cant get anything to work. Same code, just diffrent classes and it stop working.

    thats the same chopper...and if you look very closely you will see it. Look 25-28 seconds into the video and you will see.
  24. now when i calmed down. Yes we can use O2 lite, texview (okey its crap, better with some 3rd party tools for that) and few others. Its just the island tools we "need" really. People should stop whining about tools really and work with O2 lite. Not like the new tools will change anything so you just select thru a menu, "import low quality photo from google to high quality model"..

    actually i was thinking about this aswell.. i never do much "singelplayer" but I know some scripts wouldnt start.
