  1. No problems at all with aquiring it. I'm on Linux so I just grabbed one of the traditional downloads, 45 mins and done! Couldn't be much easier.

  3. Even in stock A2 the removal of them is a few clicks away in the difficulty menu. No need for a mod to do that.

    The next version is basically done with the following changes: Added: 1P29 reticle and replacement config to use it on the stock PKP/Pecheneg. Added: Steyr Aug military-style reticle Added: M145 machinegun optics calibrated for M249 and a replacement config to use it with the M249 Elcan in RH's pack. Changed: Completely new reticle textures for all PSOs. Changed: DMR now uses a 3.5-10x Leupold Mark 4 3.5-10x40mm LR/T M3 instead of a fixed 10-power scope. Reticle remains the same. Changed: Reworked the SUSAT reticle Changed: Small adjustments to TA11FIN reticle and bdc Fixed: GMJ_SightAdjustment-plugin now actually works I'll push it out together with ACE2 replacement-files as soon as I get my hands on the latter. If there's an M240 Elcan in ACE2 it'll also receive its own calibrated reticle.

    New replacement files for his M4/HK416 pack v1.02. Delete "fnc_scopes_acogrhweps_c.pbo" is you use these. HK416 Pbo Signature M4/16 Pbo Signature @Alex The reticles will have to be replaced on a per-weapon basis because RH doesn't use the stock reticles either.

    I've personally never seen a sight look like that unless used with an incorrect eye relief, that's why I'm not so keen in adding it. I know it looks somewhat "better" and that there are countless photos on the net looking like that, but it's not how the shooter sees it if using the sight correctly. Everything I've ever used has had near razor-sharp edges and that's how I like it. @STALKERGB: That's my view on how it looks :) It's based on a few SUSAT photos, schematics and Protegimus' input, but the only pic of the night reticle I was able to find is from a SUIT reanimated with LEDs. Is this how it really looks to the human eye or does the camera fake it a bit? All will naturally be of correct dimensions and useable just like the real things. I'm also re-doing most of the existing reticles as vector-graphics versions, which should make them a lot better looking and easier to update in the future.     Alex already had the correct answer toyour SUSAT problems, so I'll just respond to this: The two are more or less the same weapon, with same mags and same ballistics. Just different names. The suppressed versions will naturally be a bit different if used with subsonic-ammo, but if you use RH's own "full speed silenced SPR"-mags the difference in muzzlevelocity is very small.

    Thanks for the comments everyone! @Voodoo: The texture has to be set in the model, which means the whole model has to be overwritten to change it, or just overwrite the texture. I'll see if I can find a good way to do it without breaking anything :) @TheCrusader: SVD's PSO-1 is meant to be used like you describe: You use the scope's adjustments until 1000 meters and the chevrons beyond that. The AK74/107's PSO-1-1 is zeroed to 150 meters, and the tickmarks should be 300 and 450 meters.

    Ah my bad, I had a different classname in my version GMJ_SA. It's actually just "SightAdjustment", not "GMJ_SightAdjustment". Here you go, fixed files until next version comes out: Pbo Signature @Voodoo: Unlikely that I'll put that back as I don't like it that much myself, but I'll see If I can punch out an alternative version. The fix itself is easy, but maintaining two different versions of the pack... @Gladius: Readme :)

    Arma2 black magic The texture looks like the "night"-pic, and it just has an .rvmat that makes the green parts show up as black when there's ambient light around and glow when there's none :)
  18. Stealth? I'm kind of under the impression that when the time comes for bayoneting in real life the need for stealth is usually long gone.

    @twisted: No this won't replace it. I do recommend using them both as they work fine together. @Protegimus: Thanks for the information! The biggest reason the reticle is so crappy is because all I found was some photos and the fact that there's tritium, not even what color it is or how big an area it really lights up. Didn't use airsoft sights as reference though, lol :) The link you provided is an absolute goldmine, thank you! I'll get right on fixing the reticle. edit: Would you btw be able to describe the lighted portion in more detail? Is it just the narrow lighter area in the middle of the triangle, the whole tip of the triangle or just a point at the tip?
