Important: Please be early, we really want to start playing before 8pm this time!
-
The World-Conflicts-Clan is calling for the next ArmA4Masses Event:
Or go to http://world-conflicts-clan.com/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=217 to participate in this event!
-
next event is planned for end of November (ArmA4Masses is a monthly event)
A announcement will follow 7-10 days before.
-
UPDATE: I implemented Keygetys Spectator-Mode now to the mission.
-
Changed the image to a smaller one (thanks for destroying our advertising hoz)
There is no special cheat protection, but be sure if we see someone cheating, this was his last ArmA4Masses Event.
-
The missions will have 20 slots. This is our first event on our new server, so we will start carefully. If we can handle it on the next event, we will boost the slotnumber up to 60 or more.
@Celery: I will think about a spectator script.
Gras is on, but viewdistance is limited to 600m.
-
Yes 8pm CET is 7pm GMT.
There will be no spectator mode (would be stupid if dead players can report their teammates the enemy position inside Bagango.)
We will play until last man is falling, when there is enough time will will play several rounds until 10pm or 11pm CET.
BTW. This will be an infiltration mission, with teams lead by commanders, not a "lets make a fast rush and kill everything" mission

Its a AMD 64-Bit System we use.
We used w3c-libwww from here:
http://www.w3.org/Library/Distribution/w3c-libwww-5.4.0.tgz
and installed, as it is described on w3.org. The check on the system says that the libs are successfully running. But somehow, ArmA cannot find them.
-
running on SUSE 10.1:
It still saying:
error while loading shared libraries: libwwwinit.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
The libraries are installed, the file(s) do exist. Is there a special root where the library-files have to be stored aswell?
libww --version commands says that we have the lib successfully running in 5.4.0.
So what can it be? Wrong Version? Wrong path?
We are desperate
-
We have a problem with the www3 library on our Linux-Server.
Everytime I start the server, it says:
error while loading shared libraries: libwwwinit.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Is there a special version of the library we need? Any special things we have to do when we install the library?

Is Bohemia living in a Windows-Dreamworld? About 70% of all Gaming-Clans use Linux-Servers for their games, (my clan world-conflicts-clan.com too) cause they are easyer to handle and not that expensive, but there is still no sign for a release of a linux software for that.
The ArmA clan-community has a huge potential, but at the moment, most of the clans can just sit and wait cause they have no Windows-Servers.
So Behima please wake up, 90% of all Online games have linux-software out after a few weeks, we are waiting for nearl half a year now.

The patch is absolutely great. The game is still not perfect, but this was a big milestone into that direction.
-The new patch braught me a nice performance boost of around 10 - 15 fps.
- The new multiplayer-browser is fantastic
- No reloadscreen when opening the ingame map
My system specs:
- AMD Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego
- 2x 512 MB DDR400 in Dual Channel Mode
- ATI Radeon 1800 XL with NGO 6.12 Drivers
- Asrock 939Dual-SATAII Mainboard
- MS Windows XP PRO SP2
I have around 35 - 60 FPS now.
-
A player of my clan has a serious problem with the Multiplayerpart of the game.
As soon as he is connecting to a server (Lan/Inet), it crashes in the moment where the connection normally is going to be esatblished.
He get back to desktop with the message of an error in kernel32.dll!!!
The same happens when he hosts a game in LAN/Internet.
Singleplayer mode is running without problems.
More and more people seems to have a problem with that and cannot connect to MP servers at all.
I hope someone can report BIS this very serious bug, cause it makes the game nearly unplayable in MP!!!!

The mission is similar to the standard SC mission ArmA. But instead of fighting in the very small area south of the bridge,
you can now fight on the north and on the south part of Iguana. A spawnprotectionzone is implemented + 2 Jeep respawns on both sides.
Max players: 10vs10
The mission is in beta-stadium, report bugs if u find some.

driving the vehicles now is absolutely fantastic.
It is much easier to keep them on the streets than in OFP
-
I cannot play ArmA online for longer than a few minutes, many other owners of the German ARMA SE report the same.
Messages about piracy-copy appear, then u get kicked by saying "Session lost".
My ArmA is leagally bought like all the others also, but most of us get simply kicked after a few moments.
We need a HOTFIX, not in 1 week, we need it NOW!
-
I'm fascinated by ur idea, check ur PM enigma
-
sounds good, but what happens when all vehicles are destroyed after 10mins, for example by an unexperienced player?
-
my third try:
What is that convoy?
When I conquer a town, a convoy of new vehicles is coming to that town or what??
-
what is that kind of "convoy"??
When I capture a town, new vehicles arrive there as convoy or what???
I cannot imagine that u only have a few vehicles during the whole CTI mission, that would mean: We fight 1 hour, then all vehicles are destroyed and we spend the rest of the hours with walking doozens of km's over the island or what??
-
can anyone tell us something about CTI in ArmA?
Is it different from the CTI Missions we know from OFP?
Can u also built factories and produce vehicles?
C'mon guys, share ur experience with us
-
I found info but only in czech, can anyone translate it please?

ArmA4Masses Events are not limited to a certain gamemode of ArmA. The missionstyle will change on each event. Everyone is welcome, simulation freaks, ArmA-noobs, Clanplayers...just want to have a great time
