Huge fan of this mod, I think it brings a whole new era to ofp. I personally think more units would be the best option, speaking of which, maybe the Irish brigade (who used nothing but the m1816 .69 caliber musket)? Specificly the 69th New York State Milita which was a pre-war unit. I can provide tons of information and even pictures of reenactors if needed.

I have heard of civil war sharpshooters getting kills at ranges that are respectable today.

The early M16s had several desgin faults that caused them to jam even with cleaning. Not to mention about half of the guys that got them were told they were "self-cleaing"

I have it and no airborne units that I know of  All I can find is the 82nd AB in the inv1944 pack. EDIT: just found pics of inv1944 101st AB units ( http://ofp.gamezone.cz/index.php?showthis=1954 ) on the lower right, where can one get them?
