    Looking for some items.

    Searching is always a better idea, does it really take you 5-12 hours? If you want realism you'll want to get WGL5, check it out in this thread. It's not one of the best looking mods, but it's by far the most realistic (But the explosions are pretty cool in my opinion). WGL comes with an installer for Llauma's skies. They look a little nicer than the old BIS ones. Go to ofp.info, you can either use that for the url or you can use ofp.gamepark.cz. If there's any broken links on there most of the time the only problem is the link will be something like ofp.gamezone.cz/xxxx.rar, just change gamezone to gamepark and it should work fine.

    Pistols for Cold war crisis

    As for as I know there are no pistols for CWC, you should buy Resistance where you can have all the pistols you could ever ask for If by small arms you mean rifles and such, check out OFP.info for some downloads. Next time you should make sure to post things like this in the right forum (Addons and Mods), it doesn't really belong in offtopic.

    WrpTool tutorial=where

    Read the manual that comes with WrpTool, it's very helpful. I've never converted any models, but I believe you'll need to convert those 3ds files with a program called Oxygen , usually called O2. You can find it at the BIS Breathe Page and these (Brsseb's OFP Tutorial Site) O2 tutorials will help a lot.
  6. I'm just starting out with modelling, and I need a good tool to convert JPGs to PAAs or PACs, from what I've searched the forums for so far, TexView is what seems like the best tool. I've visited this page and tried the download. Â It won't download though I get an error that looks like this: Any ideas why this is happening? Â Is there anywhere TexView is mirrored?
  7. Well in the OFP engine you can't literally make them "dig in", but there are ways to give the enemy some better defensive posistions. Most obvious would be placing sandbags, they're in the editor as "wood fence" i believe. You can line those up to make a bit of cover for the enemy. More useful though would be to stack the sandbags 2 or 3 high, you can do that by putting this in sandbags intialization field: <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">this setpos [getpos this select 0, getpos this select 1, (getpos this select 2) +X] Where X is your going to want to put a number that will represent the height above the ground you want it to be raised up, you'll have to experiment around a little until you get it so that the sandbag is on top of the other one. Sandbags will work well, but if you really want to get complicated you could download some different addons that feature bunkers. Here's just a few examples, if you head over to OFP.info and spend some time browsing through the addons I'm sure you'll find more. Fighting Posistions by Spark - http://ofp.gamepark.cz/index.php?showthis=7368 WWII German bunker pack by mcm44/bru44 - http://ofp.gamepark.cz/index.php?showthis=8102 Foxholes hill by philcommando - http://ofp.gamepark.cz/index.php?showthis=7373 and the Mapfact Barracks addon has a lot of nice buildings, watchtowers and fences that would be good to make a base with - http://mapfact.net/include....tid=105 That's only a tiny piece of whats out there, if you look around some more you'll find even more things that could be usefull. Edit: Heh, just read through you post again and realized the 3rd question. When your placing AI in forts it's good idea to tell them to stay standing up, otherwise when you start shooting near them they'll lie down as if they were in the open, if you want them to stay standing up put this in their intialization field: <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">this setunitpos "UP"; If you swap UP with DOWN then that makes them go prone and stay that way.

    Advanced Character Custimization

    It'd be better if there were several units per side (officer, soldier, machine gunner, medic, etc.) that you could customize those basic units existing loadouts and uniforms. Â If there were only four units, then to create a mission the user would have to spend a lot of time customizing individual units.

    German GameStar slaps Armed Assault

    Looks like an ofp rip off... Same time, same concept. And their site looks like ofp info  . But I don't think they can make the AI good, sort of Soldner type of game. I'm sure the game will be great. Illusion Softworks made Mafia and Hidden and Dangerous, two games that are right next to OFP in my favorites. The AI in Hidden and Dangerous 2 was great in my opinion and I'm sure it won't get any worse. It's not going to be an OFP "rip off".

    Probably the easiest way is to make the civilians in the editor and then group them with an east officer. Then set the probability of presence for that officer to 0% (It's done with a little slider on the bottom of the screen you get when you click on him in advanced mode). Then you'll also need to give the civilians guns, but I assume you know how to do that. Hope that helps

    Spawning AI Groups

    Thanks for the link to that script What do I need to change to make the Enemy Stack scripts work with the BAS Tonal Rebels? (or any addon units) I get lost in the tutorial once it gets to the part about Active and Available units. Â I have the 4 spawn logics set up, but I get confused about what I have to do from there.
  14. I'm working on a simple little coop for flashpoint. Â It's got a group of 9 special forces soldiers surrounded in a small clearing in the Tonali jungle. Â They have to hold off the enemy at the LZ until a helicopter comes to extract them. If it helps at all the mission looks like this: The problem is I want to have a endless stream of enemies attacking the LZ from different directions. Â Ideally, I'd like to have a group come from each of the 4 arrows in the picture above. Â I've been trying to find a script or something to keep respawning the groups and have them head towards the LZ. Â I've searched the forums and the internet, but I just can't find something that would work and that I understand. Â I'd appreciate it if someone could help me out.

    OFP videography

    With mods (like WGL for instance) OFP can get pretty realistic. WGL fixes a lot of the realism issues from flashpoint. I've never played LOMAC before though, except the demo, so I can't really comment on that.

    I've had the same problem I don't think the AI can really use the mortar correctly, so they just sit there. Maybe I'm wrong though.

    I agree, so many times in multiplayer I have disconnected while in the briefing. Maybe a little "Are you sure? Yes/No" would be appropriate to prevent accidental disconnects.
