I think I'll plan to make a few other insturments.  Trumpet would be one, Tuba/Sousaphone, probably an Alto Sax too.  If anyone else has more ideas I'll consider them. Today I've been working on textures, I'm horrible at Photoshop, but I'm just making some temporary textures until my friend who is much better at Photoshop gets back from a trip.  While he's gone I thought I'd show everyone on the forums some of my horrible PS skills This is the texture for brass bell, tuning slide, and slide brace: This is the Texture for the engraving that comes on the top of the bell of the TB300: This is the texture for the silver braces, mouthpiece, and the slide catch: If anyone knows how to make the brass textures look more shiny and reflective I'd love to know  EDIT: I just got some textures put on the model, O2 finally seems like it's working again.  I guess I'll show a screen of what these temporary textures look like. Image compression seems to be really making that screenshot blurry. You get the general idea of what the trombone will look like though. They aren't the best textures, I'm having my friend DaTek work on some better textures, in a few weeks I'll have some more info.

BIS all the way, after playing Red Hammer I'd never buy a game codemasters made  Maybe you should make this a poll, so we can see some statistics

I'd like to have animations for it, but I'll have to look into that further. Anyone know somewhere to learn more about animations? Hmmm, never thought about recording sounds for it, but It probably wouldn't be a bad idea.

Thanks Gordy  Should of thought to google it myself

What exactly do you mean for a "heavy tank course" ? Â A firing range for tanks? Â Or do you mean a place to practice driving tanks Sorry I was just confused Â

I could try helping you out. I have some experience with WRP Edit. I also know a little bit about O2, but probably not enough to start a whole mod. If it's just going to be a small city though I could help by making a few buildings. You'd probably want to try to find someone who knew a little more about O2, but I'd love to help in anyway I can. Right now I don't have much time to commit to OFP because I'm still in school, but in about 9 more days it's Summer vacation

Nice looking rifle

That's exactly how I feel. If someone would have told two weeks ago I'd make a post that I wasn't going to buy OFP2 I'd laugh at them, but now I feel like I'll never buy the Codemasters OFP2, I'll buy the BIS version, no matter what it's named

Didn't the Gamespot preview say there were 3 roles to play? I think it was US Marines, US Army, and a special ops. So far we've only seen Marines, I bet the US Army part will have Blackhawks
-
You can already switch between pistol and rifle with the Y key in OFP. I think we should just keep it like that. I don't really see the need to have a hotkey for switching to AT.

Nice job with the editing on the screenshots Militiasniper I'm gonna give the mission a try; I'll tell you what I think tomorrow.

I believe he's referring to this screenshot where on the right hand side is a burning mosque.

Quoting the Operation Flashpoint 2 press release. So it's 2010, which personally I prefer over another Cold War era game. I just hope the XM8 isn't in the game

OFP2 and "armed assault" - what's up?

Day 1 of E3 2005 is just finishing up right now in LA I'm watching it on G4, you'll have to wait awhile for Day 2 to begin. -
I loved The Screen Savers too, I think the old guys name was Leo Laporte and the other guy was Patrick something.

Nah, I keep switching channels over and over and refreshing my browser, just incase it gets updated

There's buttons on a panel that flips out at the bottom of TV.

I hate reading, but that was amazing. Â Winter 2004/2005? Â Sounds like OFP2 is including lots of features that people suggested. Â It's nice to have BIS listening to some of the suggestions here on the forums. How'd you find that gandalf?
-
Woah! Â Says to tune to different channels for more programs, but none work. Â Maybe channel 3 will be OFP Xbox, because you have to turn your TV to channel three before you play Xbox... Â Oooh, only 2 days to E3!

I sure hope they change the silly ragdoll physics that FSW had. Â I played FSW at a friends house and one of my men took a single AK47 round in the head. Â Then he flew up into the air and landed a roof that was 8-9 feet high. Â It was after I saw that I decided I wouldn't buy it. The actual FSW game felt way too unrealistic, but there was some code in the game to unlock an "Army" version of the game. Â That version was way more fun, and more realistic. I agree, the only other guy I saw in the game was that one guy who wore scrubs and was the medic. Â He just stood in the middle of the road next to the humvee, it took away alot of the realism.

My grandfather washed clothes for the United States in the Phillipines. Â Not the most glorious job, but somebody had to do it. My other grandfather was a radio operator on a US ship, I'll try to find out what one it was.

I think BIS has actually helped alot with the mission editor and addon making. Â Their Command Reference Guide is what I learned basic mission making from and the tutorials for O2 are very helpful for starting out. Â In my opinion, if they just keep doing what they've already done, that'll be way more than what I expect from most game developers. I'd rather download a tutorial off the internet and have a file of it on my hard drive rather than having some bulky paperback manual. Â Nowadays most games that come with manuals are more expensive, I'd rather have a free digital copy of a manual than have a paper manual I had to pay for.

Sigma said in this thread he's going to make a version of his truck with a mounted machine gun. Â Sigma-6 said :

Is there going to be a game today?

The program Fraps can show your FPS, but if you don't want to use DXDLL you probably don't want to use Fraps either. You can download Fraps on this website.
