    Request for a static carrier

    Vixer: BUG? As far as I know there is no bug that wouldn't allow us to land on other vehicles... The only problem is that once you have landed, the mother-ship must not move or else everything on the deck will fall in water. The only important thing for a ship to have a landing desk is the Geometry LOD and the RoadWay LOD and they must be modelled correctly or it still wont work! For testing I added the RoadWay LOD and repaired the Geometry LOD of the (awesome) Retaliation's MOD Mirage patroll boat and all worked as it should - I landed, took a walk arround the boat and then took off. I even could enter the boat's commander/gunner/driver/cargo positions!! FlipeR

    I see this is going nowhere! You all have partialy right and in the same time you're are partialy wrong! It doesnt matter who is doing what with which program! Is that a crucial thing for you?     You dont need to do anything, Buldozer will be automaticaly updated! No LOD switching is needed although in the case of heavy models it can take a while, since the engine must load all those textures, effects, polygons, etc,... Zwadar, the "´" thing works only one way -> from O2L to Buldozer. And to close Buldozer, beside Alt+F4 U can also use that "little yellow" button which in fact togles Buldozer on/off. FlipeR

    The gatling animation is realy easy! I made it work yesterday on TigerShark's Little Birds (MH6)!     Yeah...who cares about the protection I remember seeing a footage from Checenya - a Russian BTR-70 APC ran over an anit-infantry mine resilting in driver + 2 soldiers dead and a totaly incapacitated APC! FlipeR

And by technicaly I mean: at least 4 resolution LODs - ALL of them SKINNED!!, proper Geometry, Fire Geometry and Hitpoints LODs for which is required an extensive understanding of OFP models and O2L... I'm right now reworking your Geometry, Fire Geometry and Hitpoints and Memory LODs, following OFP "rules", using Cessna and A10 models as bases. Then I'll send it over to you Adammo and you decide wether to make them publicly available or not.... FlipeR
