Just answered your own question. A german army jacket would look cool, and be exotic because of the history behind it, but it's not a garment, it's a museum piece.

wait, because freed american slaves went to Liberia we're somehow connected to it? I lived in New Jersey, but we moved to Kansas. Does that connect Kansas to New Jersey? We might be remotely related to it historically, but that doesn't obligate us to do anything. I would understand if we colonized it with our freed slaves, but we didn't.

You're probably right. As much as I hate to admit it, if I was tortured by an occupying army I probably wouldn't turn the other cheek.
-
I can understand that. But the people they fear and hate are long gone. maybe i just dont hold grudges like other people
-
I don't understand that at all. Most of the people from WWII are either dead or living in a retirement home. Today's Japan isn't anything like WWII Japan. ... I think
-
Or maybe they would just send non-combatant help.
-
I can understand how that would be ignoring their values and ethics, but how is it forcing western values and ethics on them?

RalphWiggum (from the Iraq thread 2) although my post will be offtopic this is a big change in Japan's miltary and constitutional perspective. their military is for defense use only, and cannot be deployed outside of the Japan. however, with this event, seems like they are trying to change their constitution or bend it. Would this change the possibility of them getting involved in a NK incident?

How did the delta/rangers/marines impose western beliefs on somalians?
-
Thats what "transport and construction duties" sounds like they'd be doing.

You're talking to a guy who lives near 1 federal, 1 state, and 1 military penitentiary, as well as a county jail and a female penitentiary. i try to make sure all the doors are locked before i go to sleep, don't think i'd open a door for someone if the sun wasn't out. and i sleep on the ground floor

I'm most frustrated with the avionics. I'm getting better, but that Soviet radar is hard to use, for me at least. I guess F4 has spoiled me I'd bet that the AI problem and other issues are fixed in LOMAC.

I'm sure they investigate the claims before they go into a house. And, if I remember right, 4 soldiers knocked on the door where the Hussein brothers where hiding before they took fire. I could be wrong though. Maybe they took fire and decided they wouldn't knock on the door.

good , our Mirages will be able to focus on congo And our air forces will sweep through Angola and we'll INVADE AFRICA!!!!!!!

It looks much more in depth than flanker 2.5, but I'm still a little apprehensive. Thats almost OFP-quality scenery. ... again

Saddams bodyguards captured Think Saddam is nearby? This might be evidence that he's dead. I don't know why the bodyguards wouldn't be guarding Saddam.
-
Let's just hope they dont end up making a movie about this.
-
cant you people take a joke?
-
well, there is a south africa
-
You mean the hussein brothers did? I don't think the Iraqi people themselves were responsible for any slaughtering. Just Saddam, his sons, and their minions.
-
hahaha, this is beautiful I went to sleep last night with 50 minutes left on the "protection time" clock. woke up this morning and saw "your wing has been destroyed". I guess I'll just scout around a lot, maybe pick on a few new wings until I can get into a good one.
-
Or maybe because they all throw darts at us on a big world map on the wall?
-
denoir They probably showed the photos to reassure the Iraqis that the brothers were dead, not for ratings (though I'm sure their ratings went up some). They didn't show the graphics from 9/11 out of respect for the dead.

Yep, military surplus stores. Do me a favor though, if you find a vintage WW2 German army jacket, don't wear it if you find a recreation, great, I know another guy who might want one but please dont wear a real one

Not if you live in Norway. You determine someone's intelligence with an IQ test, not asking them to locate something on a map. Clyde Cessna (founded one of the biggest small airplane manufacturers in the world) only had an 8th grade education, you know.
