    Call of duty demo out!

    I don't like BAS anyway

    Wow Flashpoint for Civilization2

Probably should be in user missions, or addons/mods: complete

    Call of duty demo out!

Just tried it. It was fairly realistic. Nothing really unrealistic about it unless you want to turn off all the arcade gamers out there. 3d iron sights were really cool, enemy AI was really cool, all this without the bugs of OFP (no clipping bugs, no shooting through bushes), plus reload animations to boot. I'd say it's just about equal to OFP if not better. OFP doesn't have 3d sights, enemy AI is good but can get stupid sometimes, and those bugs make for a bad gaming experience if the conditions are right.

Why don`t military make things bigger

*cough* Bigger means you can transport more things, carry bigger guns, have more armor, whatever you're using it for. But smaller means it's going to be harder to hit, probably faster, and probably more fuel efficient.

    Brazilian space rocket explodes

Sorry to hear it. Space programs haven't had much luck anywhere lately.

    Lock on: modern air combat

I'm also getting tired of being worn out on games before they're released. Releasing pictures and movies and war stories is great to get people interested, but the new features that the game promises grow old with time.

    Lock on: modern air combat

Heard you the first 20 times dude I can't stand it. I'm stuck in a dorm room with no PC just before they release the LOMAC demo.

    The Middle East part 2

They probably think their base will associate "fatwa" with terrorism, so they're trying to avoid the word.

Dunno the name. I just heard that the other major competitor to Haliburton was French.

    Temperature control,bugs and global warming

Our AC failed a few days ago so we're living in heat. it's actually hotter indoors than outdoors, but its night time so i guess that can be expected cant wait to get into my AC-controlled dorm room

    Ask a mod

From using the ignore feature on other Vb boards, I didn't find it that useful. Instead of making it so that you can't see that they've posted, you get a "This user is on your ignore list. Click HERE to view the message." in place of their post. Do you think you'd be able to resist clicking? Half the time I don't.

    What militaria do you own?

that would explain the ugly padding wonder if that works better than the hard helmets US tank crews wear.

I don't get what the deal with haliburton was. Yeah, they're an American company that used to be run by a high level politician. But it was either them or a french company.

Bernadotte A wonderful teacher. I don't even think cooling towers release 100% of the output. But anyway, the coolant would cool the aparatus down to a safe level, then be stored in a truck. There's no reason you can't move a truck of boiling liquid anywhere, we do it with extremely cold temperatures all the time. Then, it would be shipped to a secret space pad on a tanker orbiting out in international waters. It would be launched into space and stored on the dark side of the moon, where it would cool, then be returned to earth via a gigantic system of pipes.

And I have to agree, it was very stupid for the US soldiers to just shoot the camera man because he looked like he was holding an RPG. Don't they know to identify then shoot?

Water isnt compressible, dude. Hydraulic effect You cant put water under pressure? So how is water at the bottom of the ocean so many PSI? Anyway it's not important. You could still move uncompressed water/steam out.

Send it to the moon. Considering I've already admitted that they probably don't have underground facilities like this I dont see why we're still going on about it. But anyway I've got nothing better to do You could cool it with water or some other more efficient coolant, then get rid of the coolant in tanks, probably compressing it a lot just to save space. Take it out of the facility and bury it somewhere. If you didn't care about the environment you could just empty the tanks somewhere. Just off the top of my head. I don't see why you'd need some giant cooling tower though.

    What militaria do you own?

Oh, lol, so I guess you don't wear it much then my dad did have a pilots helmet with an NVG mount on the front but I'm pretty sure he turned it in

    What militaria do you own?

a flak jacket or an aviators leather coat? my grandfather gave me a leather coat for my birthday a few years back, its not vintage but its still a great coat

    What militaria do you own?

I also own an "authentic" (it ws advertised as authentic, dunno if thats true) Israeli gas mask. I lost a valve on it so it's completely worthless.

Ok ok, so they probably didn't have underground bunkers. I'm still not convinced that the Iraqi gov't didn't have illegal things going on behind the scenes though. Bernadotte It depends. Â I'd need more detail to come up with anything watertight. Then please just tell us what details you need so that we can get on with this. How much heat? Â How many resources (money) do you have? Â Anything radioactive? I don't spend all day on these forums you know.

denoir I believe I said that they could of spread the facility around, all over Iraqi if they wanted. Put one part up north, another down south, spread it around. I don't know much about the complexity of how it works though. Unless, like I've been saying, they worked together with other labs to create one infrastructure. I could say the same to you. You don't know how they got rid of the heat, you're speculating as much as I am. Yeah nuclear physicists are recquired for the construction phase. You haven't given me any reason to think they couldn't build an underground facility.
