In the campaign mission, though, just go down to the support thats not in the water on your side of the river, put 3 charges on it, run and blow it up, it's easy. After, of course, killing all the bad guys in the area, and some on the other side of the bridge.
-
3 satchel charges at one of it's supports should do it. Basically, just shoot at it's supports until they go down. I took all of them out with one or two reloads in an AH-1 before, so it is possible.

Don't turn this thread into an argument, especially a stupid one like this.

I think they put a pretty yellow square around you. Like when you're told to "target soldier..." Theirs is just more accurate. At least that's what I think. It would explain how they shoot at you through bushes and stuff like that.
-
If you wanted a steerable parachute you'd have to make a plane, or at least an airfoil. If OPF supports planes, it'd support a steerable parachute, which is basically a glider.

I've never run into the ammo bug.

I think I smell another OFP campaign addon in the making. Except everyone would know the end to it.

the exhaust nozzles dont stick out of the tail like that, other than that just slap some textures on it and you've got yourself an eagle.

I don't know who he was, but I think he died.

Kinda like the tanks, press the spacebar to switch from one weapon to another.

Samson's "it doesn't take a hero"-campaign
FSPilot replied to Sam Samson's topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
LOVED the campaign! It was shorter than any other campaign that I've ever done, but it was better than any other campaign. I don't know what it is about this campaign, I don't want to spoil it for anyone, just so you know, it's GREAT> -

I don't know why it wouldn't, they have a commanders and gunner's turret. But I don't know, I'm not a coding... guy.

That kept happening to me in samson's war on terror campaign. I'd be in the middle of something and then see a cutscene of a BMP. Then I'd come roaring into the scene out of control and smash into the BMP. It was hilarious.

Once I put an AT mine right in front of a tank that I wanted to blow up. The AT mine went off and killed us both. I guess it goes by range and not contact. And why aren't there any AP mines?

It's indicating opposite the compass on the top of the screen (haven't checked the "G" compass, but that should be the same as the one on the top of the screen). The compass (well, directional gyro) is on the bottom, the compass is on the top. Look at this pic.

The sad thing is that the movie "Blackhawk Down" was made to remember the soldiers that died in the incident in Somalia, and now people want to play "blackhawk down". You could at least not call it blackhawk down. Just Somalia or something, have some respect.
-
I heard of a script where helicopters could carry tanks and stuff. Might be close to what you're looking for, do a search on it. And you never know, the C-130 might be shooting at things. I'm pretty sure if BIS released a C-130 someone would come out with a gunship model of it if BIS didn't already.

Remember, after the first mission, riding in the truck to the place where you get overrun by the tanks? He'd already seen combat, but he still loved it. That actually happens to a lot of people. Not that that literally love combat, but they get hooked on the adrenaline from it. A condition called post-combat stress disorder.

Maybe that's why they primarilly use helicopters.

Or you could just put the default OPF (1985 CWC) cd into your drive, then click on the executable on your desktop.
