I've said it before and I'll say it again. I love your sig. Thanks!

Or you could just uninstall everything, saving your official campaign files, then reinstall it, reinstall the original campaigns (so you don't lose your place) and go for it. It's kinda overboard, but it would save you the work of picking through all the files and deleting what you don't want.

Here's what I think is going on. When you're told by your officer to target an enemy, you get a little yellow box that says "Target", right? Well, what if the enemy AI uses the same principle. Their officer (or a soldier, who calls you out on the radio) spots you and tells one of his troops to engage you. That troop gets a little yellow box to shoot at, which he does, and then kills you. That's what I think it happening anyway. It's the only thing I can think of where the AI can know your position, but not necessarily see you.

It said I was missing an addon or something. I installed all the addons too xD -
I'm bored with OPF. I've done 2 official campaigns and plenty of add-ons. But now I'm bored with it, and I've gone back to playing DoD more. YES, that is a problem. So I've come here for help. I need someone to recommend to me a campaign that will keep me interested in OPF until I complete the campaign at least. So tell me, what is your favorite campaign? I've already done the Spetsgruppa Alpha campaign, both Samson's WOT campaigns, PMC Fury, and the "spec ops" campaign. Fire away. So far, my favorite is both Samson's WOT campaigns. They just have a great storyline. =D

Ok, yeah, so I played MP. Â Didn't like it. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it was just not fun for some reason. So who has a campaign for me to try? There has to be one out there. -

FSPilot replied to FSPilot's topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Actually I should have mentioned I don't really like MP. It's so complicated. I don't like sitting and waiting for people to ready up just so I can play. I do play sometimes though. But what's your favorite campaign? -
The campaign I installed the first time this happened was the Spetsgruppe Alpha 13 campaign by L13. Â It's a good campaign (VERY HARD xD), and once I deleted that one file it worked great. But like I said I don't think I installed anything new to operation flashpoint. I didn't think there was a limit to how many campaigns you could install. Â I'll uninstall one I don't play anymore and see if that works. EDIT - It worked! Apparently I had gone over something that somehow limits the number of campaigns you can install. So I uninstalled a campaign I wasn't interested in anymore and voila, it worked. =D Thanks for all your help everyone, much appreciated.

Thats my campaign screen. It happened before after I installed a campaign. I uninstalled part of it (had something to do with a feature of the campaign, I didn't understand it) and it worked. Now I don't think I've installed anything new, but I still get that screen. Can anyone help me out?

This was workign fine before it happened, it just came out of nowhere. And thanks for responding.

Ok, well, I started playing this campaign a little while back, just because Russians are cool. But the campaign was hard, so I ended up cheating my way through it, and eventually didn't complete the campaign, I just wanted to end it. So I'm on the last mission where you're in the forest and being chased by all those NATO guys. I kill them all (or the rest run away), then make my way through the forest. What the... AMBUSH! All these guys with M-60s, 2 apaches, and a Kiowa are waiting at the cars (my extraction point) and of course they proceed to shoot me. So the next time I sneak up on them. Using whatever gun I had (I think Bizon?) I shoot the pilot in one helicopter, it crashes, I start taking out the M-60 gunners, and shoot the pilot in another helicopter (now both the apaches are down, one went into the forest, and it's pretty damaged, the other just has a dead pilot and a hopeless AI gunner). So I sneak around some, take out the rest of the M-60 gunners, and get in the AH-64. The Kiowa is still flying about so I shoot it down, then fly around for a little bit. All the enemy is either dead or running away. So anyway, I end up having to select the "Surrender" option and end the game, then end up in front of a firing squad (a violation of the geneva convention, I might add, hehe). So is there any way to get around this? How can I complete the mission without surrendering.

Any way to make the sun no so red?
FSPilot replied to Aculaud's topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Isn't it usually red only at night? You know the old saying: "Firey morning, sailors warning Firey night, sailors delight"? -
I've got... P4 2.26ghz 512mb RAM 32mb NVIDIA GeForce4 MX420 I've got the FPS and quality sliders all the way up Visibility at about 1789 (meters?) Detail set to normal resolution set to 800x600x32 Refresh rate is 120Hz And all the little buttons are checked except for Harware T&L Now I have a question, what does the refresh rate do? System performs fine with these specs.

And why does the RPG gunner (or LAW, AA, whatever) have to crouch with the RPG? Is it so heavy that it has to be held on the shoulder. I know that's how it's aimed, but maybe there should be a seperate key to "not aim" so you can walk around with it, maybe find some cover after you just made a T-80 mad as a hornet. And I agree, you should be able to reload on the run. Also - beefier reload sounds and reload animations!!! It sounds like I'm reloading a toy gun. I wanna hear clicks and a nice metalic "cha-chink" when I'm done. ... yeeeeah.

Looks good. How many cars can you actually shoot from, could this be a first?

I didn't find any. And it's probably not a good idea to post links to cheats on a public board anyway. We don't know who's reading this.
