"I have GOT to get this game!" Generally what I say when I play any demo.
-
I think it's just a sick joke turned into a rumour.

Makes sense. Kind of scary to know that one of our best aircraft has a pretty exploitable flaw.

I'm still shocked they got an F-117. Must of had his bay doors open or something. Anyway, the F-117 and other stealth bombers are pretty good at taking out SAM and AAA sites, so they shouldn't be a problem. If they turn out to be, we could always lob a few cruise missiles at it.

They're remarkably similar.

Cadets are part of the armed forces. They're in a program modelled after the military, and a lot of them probably will join the military later on in their life. Close enough. I was in the civil air patrol as a cadet for a few years, but I quit when we moved to NJ. The squadron there was... sub-par. I'll probably rejoin the CAP once I get my pilots liscense and volunteer with them to do search and rescue flights, maybe homeland defense flights if I have time. I'm still thinking about joining the Air Force, Air National Guard, or AF Reserves. Those A-10s don't fly themselves.

Sept. 11th is a holiday, but THEY STILL ATTACKED US!!! LOL, ok, j/k If I were in command (God forbid) I'd try to reach a cease-fire agreement for religious holidays. B ut I wouldn't bend over backwards for it.

I'd do it the same way we did it last time. It looks like we'll have a coalition too, if the UN decides to start backing itself up. Unless Saddam starts cooperating. But what are the odds of that. If anything, he'll say he'll let inspectors in, then not, just to drag it out for another few months while he's sill developing WMDs.

This one should be easy.

I'd die for my country to protect it (which includes it's overseas interests) and to protect it's allies. Why? Well, I take my country seriously. It's not just a geographic location or a piece of paper to me. It's my ideals and what I stand for. In this case: freedom, democracy, people's rights as a human being.

I heard of a video of some guy surviving a parachute failure. Â It was on America's Funniest Home Videos (which I think should be called "America's Most Violent Accidents") Seriously, they always show people getting into these really violent accidents and not getting hurt. Â If you ask me, it's worse than all those video games adults are always rambling about.

LOL! I love it when people try to be all insightful and stuff, then everyone nitpicks what they said to pieces. *simpsons* Lisa quoting Shakespeare - A rose by any other name would smell as sweet... Bart - Not if you called them stench-blossoms.

I wouldn't be surprised if they made computer towers out of the same stuff they make the black boxes in airplanes out of.

Today's the day we vote in the U.S.. It's not the presidential elections, it's for control of the senate (and other smaller offices, ie. city treasurer). So who voted? What political party do you tend to agree with and why?
-
I can't imagine using a flight sim without a joystick. I even had a set of rudder pedals and a yoke (complete with throttle stick ). They broke though =\
-
Just because the republicans have the majority of chairs in the U.S. senate doesn't mean they have complete and universal control over everything. Republicans and democrats still have to work in a bi-partisan manner to get things done. It's not like all republicans will vote the same, and all democrats will vote against that. And PLEASE don't debate the pros/cons of republicans and democrats. I really just wanted to know who voted, and what their political preference was.
