  1. Most of those pics show SOF style units -which is not really the main focus of RHS as far as I know. you can see most of them are not standard army infantry-the bottom pic is Danny Dietz-Navy SEAL. Unless RHS are moving into SOF stuff in the future?

During my time as a regular army Infantryman, I was issued a TA01NSN, with the rear iron sight bit replaced with a J-Point red dot (circa 2005). It actually comprised approximately 95% of all optics issued in my battalion, as we were newly stood up prior to your deployment in 2006. So yes, this was used in "non-SOF" capacities. But I do believe it's initial fielding was infact in the SOF community.

  2. they dont' date=' although this isnt exactly the FC ,.. will change to the correct one later[/quote']

About that, this is just a suggestion fox so just take it how it is :D. You know how on the USMC helmets in game they have working cat eyes? (if you don't know what that is the little glowing things on the back of the helmet) Well I've always wondered if something like that could be done but for it to be visible with NVD's only. Because on the ACH helmets there are tabs that you pull back to reveal a little black IR tab, along with on the uniform shoulder pockets, AND the non-colored IR flag that is worn in theater. Just thought maybe it would be an interesting feature and if you might like the idea.

  3. Does US Army wear Nomex gear or is that only US Marines?

Some do, usually in mech units where the nomex crewman coveralls are issued it seems. But there are also the FR uniforms (fire resistant). Also nomex flight gloves are one of standard issue things that everybody gets, no matter if the unit buys extra/different ones. Sometimes you'll see people (usually gunners on a hwmmv that i've seen) with nomex facemasks/hoods, and they may be issue or a personal bought item.

    ok some questions ' date='

i will be doing stryker crew , bradley etc

do they wear IOTVs or IBAs etc? or just the plain ACU w/ helmet

    :o[/quote']

The crewman of a stryker/bradley would be wearing a CVC(Combat Vehicle Crewman) helmet, the dismounts would be wearing normal gear. Also they would wear the IOTV(pretty much what deployers get) but you could throw in the IBA if that's what you wanted. And either tan CVC coveralls or the ICVC in ACU, or there is a two piece ACU crewman uniform as well from what I've seen.

  4. I have to agree, the amount of Recoil the AKs74 has compared to the M4/M16/Mk16 is way to much...it should be in fact a bit less then the .223 since the 5,45x39 round has a weaker charge than a 5,65x45.

Noticed this while playing US for the first time in Warfare this week...the M series have no recoil at all compared to the Aks

And also for the fact that the US rifles in this utilize flash hiders, not muzzle breaks. So the recoil couldn't possibly be less than the AK74, which is very reasonable in real life.
