    [SP] Morning Entry

Updated version has been released. Changelog: Subscribe link on the Steam remain the same or use ModDB link for standalone PBO file. EDIT: Added link for Armaholic mirror (thx Big)
  2. Short and straight SP mission Morning Entry by EMSI Defend your positions in air, on the ground and in the water. AFB Stratis and its external infrastructure on the island Stratis is an important point for indirect recon of the nearby demilitarized island Altis. But in past days there were observed an sporadic disruptions of airspace by the enemy aircrafts over the Altis and several small UAVs were also observed over the east coast of Stratis. The alarming is that these UAVs are designed only for a short range recon, so they can only be launched from the small boats or submarines. Currently we have no information about the direct activities of enemy troops on the island Stratis, but we can't exclude this possibility. Therefore, all units located on the AFB Stratis are in DEFCON 3 in past several days. NOTE: No unofficial mods or addons required. Thanks for these words ^_^ VERY positive feedback in a first post ... something is wrong with my mission :D

    [SP] Finding Pandora - TANGO

Thanks. :) From my point of view, if the mission is not build directly for any addon/mod, it's better to not use a lot of them due to incompatibility and issues with versions, utilization etc. But this is for a another discussion in a different section of forums.

  8. Yes, M113 with TOW and maybe also with mortar is planned + other versions.
  9. It's nothing special, just a little "hack" of RVMAT ;) You will see more later on.
  10. C'mon. You know, we are working on the Mod in our free time when our loving wives and "sometimes a little bit crazy" children will allow us to turn on the PCs :D We have no strict liabilities to the community - we are creating our Mods for our own pleasure, and regarding to the final release of CSLA Mod for A2:CO (with largest SP campaign ever created), when the community response has been sporadic, we don't need to be hurry. I can tell you that we will release the first pack in Q4/2015, but it will be only the estimation with 0.000001% (zero) info value.
  11. Thank you guys! (CSLA team) We are not releasing any BETA versions of our Mod and now we are not able to confirm when any release will be available for the community.Once any suitable pack will be ready, we will inform the community in the right time ;) ... no worry.

  13. Here ... few screens from our WIP terrain based on the real location. To see the screens in a standard resolution go here: http://www.moddb.com/mods/csla-mod-for-arma-3/images https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10153370707275675.1073741836.270571725674&type=3
  14. PASGT helmet with camo netting is not included yet, but until the Mod will reach the complexity available for release for community, this "feature" can be added meanwhile.
  15. From the beginning no. For the initial release, we are preparing only the basic sets of soldiers with typical camo for Cold War.
  16. No, the turret shields were not used in the 80's. They will be removed. Sorry for disappointment :)
  17. AFMC will remain as Independent faction and US will represent BLUFOR of course. Yes, also USMC will be presented later on.
  18. Not only the CSLA troops were deployed. We can report also presence of US Army troops.
  19. Thank you. What we can tell out about this map is that the terrain is inspired by the real place in the middle of the Europe and it not will be the island (no sea at the borders of the map). We are working (as seen on the pics) on many of own houses and other "village" infrastructure which was typical for '70-'80s in this area of middle Europe.
  20. Another set of WIP screens from our own map - currently a small village is under the testing for a performance and availability of all features
  21. Note that CSLA Mod has been released in latest version v.2.26 - related info with download links can be found here: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?164081-CSLA-for-A2-CO-(with-campaign-89)&p=2680146#post2680146 Hello CSLA folks, we are proud that we can announce the release of updated CSLA Mod for Arma 2: Combined Operations, which finally includes an extensive singleplayer campaign, codenamed '89. Way to this "more or less" the last release for A2:CO was long and full of surprises. Along with the work on the other stunning addons, singleplayer and multiplayer missions, we were working on the largest campaign ever, for more than a year. When we look into our dev-log, we see there more than 1600 hours (without testing) spent on the editing of this mega-project. When I look into the past, a lot of interesting things happened during this period. One of our team members build own villa, another team member completely destroyed his PC as his water cooling system leak a water into the case. Another one become married and three months ago, his wife born him a beautiful son. Unfortunately, we also lost one good and young friend which was a great fan of CSLA Mod from the old OFP times. Therefore, the campaign is dedicated to him. Rest in peace Ondrej. But, back to the release ... Along with the campaign are in the updated Mod included also new vehicles and other features. Just to be short, I will point out on the soviet submarine Class OSCAR II, K-349 "Dnepr", which is our small flashback to the OFP times. As a bonus in this release you may also find two vehicles which are not from the Cold War Era. We added the "digital" MiG-29AS and (already retired) Mi-24V of Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic as a honor to our history - this year is 69. anniversary of Slovak national uprising during the WWII. And yes, we will probably add more equipment of this faction in the future (A3?) .. who knows ;) Now few words to the SP/MP missions ... As you probably saw in the past, some of the SP missions are locked by default. In this case, you need to play and finish other SP missions to enable this locked content. Note that many of the missions contains random elements or procedures, so they can be playable more than two times. And note that also some of the missions required also ACR DLC (can be also Lite), mainly due to "summer island". Operation Venkov is another unique piece in our large collection of playable content. This mission is originaly created as a large MP COOP, therefore you will find it's two (one for the ACR DLC) versions in the list of MP missions and also two modified versions are included in the list of SP missions. Note that in this case you are not able to use any respawn (in SP version), so it's recommended only to the hard-core players ... because "if you see the flash, it's already late" ;) And what you may expect from the campaign? As we announced before, campaign contains more than 60 missions(!) and is released as one large pack (not divided into any packages ... everybody knows :)) The story and the background of a campaign reflects to some real events which were happened in the past. Note that we didn't want to follow the same background as was in old campaign for OFP (it's impossible of course), but we believe that we created another splendid piece. Player will go through the campaign with few different characters such is rifleman, paratrooper, pilot etc. and he will be faced to many decisions in various situations/missions. Then, according to these decisions, different advances through the mission (or through whole new missions) will follow. This means, that the campaign is not strictly linear - can be played for many times and as the situations in many missions are generated randomly, player has at least (put-your-number-here-according-your-skills) hours of playing time ;) Campaign can be finished in three different endings which are more or less the same for each part of the story. This release of campaign is without any dubbing, but there is the plan to record it in the future. So, we are looking for any constructive feedback. I hope, I don't miss on something in these "few" words ... ... hope, you will enjoy the campaign with all the new stuff in CSLA Mod! 22. ÄŒSLA WIP for A3 is already for long time presented here http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?167646-CSLA-Studio-A3-WIP
  23. Hi guys, unfortunately, I can confirm that this bug is caused by the bloody "steam-required" update 1.63. We did the last update for the A2:CO in status where there was no requirement for Steam and all Gamespy game servers were available. As we are personally now focused on the A3 engine, we will not to return back and try to fix all the issues which were caused by the last, but for SP missions + HUGE (and probably ever largest) SP campaign, not required update. Sorry, but we have no resources to do that. Hope you understand.
