    In regards to that disabled abrams on page 16, my understanding from the book "Thunder Run" by David Zucchino it was reported to be a SPG/Recoiless rifle fired from a lower elevation and was just a "golden BB" because it struck the right place at the right time. The Exact quote is as follows Now before anyone starts on the olde flame wagon "Omg abrams is best this tank is best" I'd just like to declare there is no such thing as perfect tank, at the end of the day a tank is a machine and machines can be broken so please do not degrade this topic into the usal flame wars.   2. A nice if a little underrated feature now is that vehicles with multiple "linked" weapons for instance the AH6 or Shilka/ZU23 now fire from more then one barrel at the same time in comparsion to standard ArmA 2 where you needed a 3rd party addon/script to do it

    What crusades are you intending on representing? 1st -9th? and are you concerntrating on any particular factions or just the general "crusader" theme? I dont intend to come off as negative it's just curioisty speaking, the current stuff you've shown looks great and I'd love to see more!.

    If everyone starts posting their username/ID's so we can add each other on the friends lists maybe we can get some more BI forum goers joining the same servers for some epic teamwork related gaming, this game is absolutely incredible when playing with friends online, very gratifying!.     Hi LugNut, the correct path is your main ArmA 2 directory, typicalled located in program files, I have the userconfig folder in the following path and it works ok for me! (running windows 7 with retail arma 2 (not steam)) "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2" just place the userconfigs folder with the GL4 folder inside there.

    Suppressive Fire, any luck?

    I got it to work as follows Menu -> Scenarioes -> My Missions -> Base Defend/Defence - x5 BLUEFOR Machinegunners (me), default enemy (x10 riflemen, x2 marskman), started the mission, setup a all around defenisve postion, spotted a enemy, ordered supressive fire through the menu (3-9 I believe), my machinegunners lit up this poor persons postion, and continued firing when anthoer 2 men were spotted inbetween buildings, the rounds were hitting walls and tracers were richcoting everywhere, the OPFOR AI even seemed quite reluctant to come out and they back tracked around and got a nice burst of .50 to ruin their day.

    I can recommend the game, it's absolutely superb and one of the few games in recent times that made me want "One more turn", the AI is superb and the ship design is a mini game inside it's self, if your on the fence I recommend it, (although I've only played the base game and none of the expansions, which to my understanding add alot of additional features)

    Hi Apache-Cobra, that particular video with the T72 being quite litterly blown to pieces was not a fair test afaik, I've been trying to find the report but it stated that they filled it with other explosives and the like to add to the "effect", here's a video of a javelin impact from YouTube to emphasis the difference between the two, although the tank would still have been knocked out either because the crew would be dead and or the subsequent ammunition cook off.@Solus, I had a similar bug report in regards to dragging wounded and ending up in the ocean, I was dragging a wounded AI when I was hit by an explosive, not sure where it was launched from, I believe it was a BMP3, instead of dieing I suddenly appeared in the ocean some 8000m away from the rest of my squad and suicide respawned and it was fine after that, I was playing local MP via the internet on a small user mission that contained no additional scripts.

    Strange froggyluv, because I was just playing Battlefields included with Vanilla ArmA and someone got hit by something (not entirely sure, I turn around), and there was gibs smoking infront of me again I'm not sure what triggered it I heard no explosion so I guess it's just something that happens on occasion

I personally love this addon, why? several reasons really 1. its free, like all addons for the communtiy, I've made several addons for personal use and it takes a LONG time and lots of testing and tweaking to finally get it things working as you want them to 100% of the time 2. It's got a tiny performance impact, I LOVE massive missions, many of my own rarely have less then company sized conflicts, so high performance addons are a must, this is one of them, sure it may not be the prettiest thing ever to grace our monitors but it works, it's fuctional and from a gameplay perspective just fine, having a nice model doesnt make the addon good. Not sure if anybody has permission to try this, maybe someone could get in contact with the talented script Mando and ask if he's got any plans to port it to ArmA II, he's already made a gun suite to go alongside his missile suite, it had definable weapons, I've unoffically tested it (without permission and thus will never be released), and it seemed to work ok!, the guns engaged the infantry (kind of, its not really them firing per sey but it gives the intended effect)

Hi, it seems to be request the feature day lol, If I may make a small request?, can we see some mortars and their various ordnance being fired by player and or being used by AI in the indirect fire role is such a thing is possible?, also has the NVG simulation been improved? I've noticed tracers very similar to VBS2's which is superb, any chance of seeing those at night through naked eye and then through NVG's respectively?. Thanks to anyone that can help curb my inquisitions!

    BushWars Mod

    Many thanks for the latest release BWC, but I've got question or probably more so a request, any chance of seeing a hotfix or future releases with XEH (Extended Event Handlers) support/implementation?, as it stands right now these guys are not compatiable and you lose many features of popular mods (ECS,6th Sense Tracers, ACE). I apperciate all your hard work and testing to ensure this fine release and for that I grateful so please don't take this request the wrong way. Many Thanks Extremeus Decimus

Hello I'm not too sure as to whom this should be addressed to, but in regards to the AI gunner bug I have stumbled upon a solution that seems to work just fine, they engage per normal, I'm not sure if any member of the team has tried this method but I'd like to get in contact with the relevant persons for discussion and perhaps (if it's a suitable solution) be implemented in a future patch?.     I also get a script error, for me it comes and goes so quickly i cannot screencapture it, i presume it comes from the Player/CalcMapPos.sqf because what i can remember of the script is, its only partial but thats the only bit i recongise., it comes up when the commander tells AI to go to support vehicles, it comes up as AC[null], for example. ---EDIT--- This was running ACE!, I have not yet tested on standard sahrani running vanilla, but i presume at this time that it will not be effected because ACE changes the maps from alphanumeric maps EG (AB35 BC51) to six digit (065 531), maybe that's the cause?., I will attempt to screencapture the error tonight.

    1.15 Beta AI gunners not firing

    Hello Kremator, I can confirm I have a similar issue with all units when using any version of ACE mod, I've tried with 1.14 and 1.15, without ACE mod running Vanilla its fine, running XAM its fine, running SLX and FFN its fine. If however I run ACE at ANY point, they refuse to engage when I am the commander, Vanilla runs just perfect. Hope you find the solution to your problem.
  20. @Miles Teg       The jump feature is still in ACE 1.02, me and a friend were using it last night by pressing the J button, best check the ace_keys.hpp file located in main arma directory/dta/ACE/ace_keys.hpp and check that the feature is bound to the J key or "ACE_Jump = 36; // J"

Does anybody else have the issue of the player being  the commander of a tank (in this instance a M1A1 abrams), and the AI gunner not engaging automatically, I have to designate every target and order the gunner to engage, vehicles that have no commander postion do not have this problem. *EDIT, simple case of RTFM*

    Ok must be a problem our end, everything works just perfect in SP, the second we try to locally host it the problems start occuring, I recieve no error messages and its fine for the host, but for the player thats joining is transformed into a segull etc, the host can still change channels, no problems with the briefing UI etc, and the AI is acting as it should for the host, the client however is where the problem occurs.

    A quick question, is this compatible with the latest version of ACE? 1.01, I believe they are using a newer updated version of the extended event handlers. Me and a friend were playing WACO (latest version) Warfare being locally hosted by us, everytime someone joined it caused the briefing UI to go mad and then ingame we got stuck with the group channel and transformed into seagulls, after trying without GL3 it works perfectly, the only addons we were using was ACE 1.01 and Gl3 1.3 + DSAI fix. Possible incompability with Warfare?.
