Ahh yeah... I have the first season, but I've had other things on my mind to connect, thanks!
-
Right now, this and alot of stuff is on hold. I'm burned out from Drill Sergeant School (LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG Week) And also, I'm still trying to get a hold of how things will pan out while in school. Honestly, Drill Sergeant School is my main focus, and generally as time goes on, will have started to see what goes on, and adjust from there. I don't have much time on the hands as the past few weeks, messing around being a Candidate, so one of these days, I may get around to working on something, provided I get some sort of sleep.

Thanks.... For those working on the project, could you all send me a status on the various projects working, as really, my time is limited (Drill Sergeant School, and right now I only got so much time, so via email will suffice, just keep in mind any responses will be delayed).

STOP Right now, due to real world commitments on nephilim's end, she has asked that I take over for the project, to maybe get it started. Right now I just have to look at what she's done, what needs to be done, and so on. Then in a few days or so I'll get with people to get things prioritized, etc.

VBS1 Core Island, and the second one Negova

It's definitely an interesting concept, but I'm still working my way around this project.. Thanks to RKSL-Rockape, the nose-high attitude is gone, from this to this: And currently I'm PLANNING on doing something sort of a hatchway in the middle of the aircraft to effect some kind of fast-rope method, but it's not a priority, but is considered (for the future, once I get further along) in my plan book. Â But so far you can still do the old "bust in and assault" method such as this:
-
The missions in the VBS1 are simple tutorials on the scripts that come with the pack. Very fun and interesting stuff....
-
She did get her reference shots on the Aimpoint on the previous page from me, and I tell you, it's a veeerrrry good job of doing it (the anti-reflective device is a geometry, not a texture). Â I had to adjust a few things, but overall, she put some work into it..
-
@Thunder Bunny: I've seen something similar, it was ATF, a book by Bill Gunston. Â I think it was the one with a hybrid AH-1 cockpit and general shape, the art was depicting the "gunship" protecting a "standard" osprey in a CSAR role. Â I would put the gun more forward, but the problem is the nose-up attitude it has. Â I'm having somebody (hopefully) look into that. @Ingram: Well, I was contemplating adding wheels in the rear (like the Harrier) on the rear tailfins, but so far when it lands it's not necessary.
-
I think I'm thinking too much anime... I tried to fix the nose up problem, but for the life of me I can't seem to figure it out. At first I thought it was the vertexes for the rotors... nope, no worky, so for now it's still going to have that profile.
-
I think we should keep more on topic than discussing the lack or non-lack of social lives. Â There's forums elsewhere too... But I haven't run this by neph yet, but here's what the plans are. Â Note Aimpoint model is hers, as well as the tactical light, and the weapon model is from Frandsen, as he was kind (very kind) to let me play with them: she did a well detailed version but I guess lack of time forced her to omit it from the VBS1 release.
-
Uh, have you actually done it?
-
Well, it should be in there. Â Just realize that I'm a user (though I helped with my unit, matter of fact I'm working on the M4 I used in Iraq) of the addon, and helped with some things. Â Nephilim is the de facto maker of the project, so if she includes it she does, if not she doesn't. Â I have no bearing on the project other than posting screenies to give you all an idea of what to expect. And no, I don't have an OFP version, this is all VBS1 stuff.
-
Man, it is REALISTIC to lean and shoot, it's one of the basic things you need to know how to do (especially in urban combat). You keep a lower profile, and survive longer. Of course it should be in Armed Assault... whether SP or MP..
-
But since I cna't delete this accidental double post, here's a shot of some more stuff to see:
-
Hey, gotta survive anyway you can
-
@Sanctuary: I got the Wanzer pack, and have to actually take the time to go over it, but I must say, it sure is one of the most interesting addons you can find... Nope, sticking with the "old style" rotors. More due to laziness than anything else. Reworked the main gear bays, I'm sick of animations, and made it simpler. Plus these two shots show the proposed camo scheme, not final, WIP:
-
Couldn't resist showing the VBS1 version:
-
Yeah, but I would think "MV-80 Osprey III" makes it different, doesn't it? Kinda like the B-52 Stratofortress and the EB-52 Megafortress from Flight of the Old Dog. Â It shares some of the components of the base aircraft (general shape, etc.) yet, is totally different. I mean for real, where do you see "V-22" anywhere? Â Hell it's on it's own classname......
-
Orca Fighters? Â I have the first season of Stand Alone Complex, though the "Osprey" has a more conventional tail layout. Â Though I can get a couple more pictures of the tail section:
-
I've done a little more: I've done a little neph, but the olive isn't working with me but this is what I got so far... And yes, the canvasses are so far (2 so far) at 2048 x 2048..
-
Pic1 Pic2 Hey, just showing what kind of damage I've done to your MV-22 beta. Still haven't messed with the rotating of the nacelles, but trying out camo and reworking the fuselage a bit. First pic is what I've done so far, and the second.... yeah, the cockpit view needed some serious fixing, particularly the dashboard. I've saved it under a different name, terming it the "MV-80" instead.

Started back on the UD-4L a bit, adding some more weathering, and attempts at scrathes..

Read the previous posts. Finally decided to make the main gear doors two piece rather than one piece, as it's less of a headache (I say that now of course):
