Cheers mate, these pics would definitely be helpful! if you could do the same by focusing on the main parts (Top/bottom) of the uniform then it would be great! Regards Thunderbird84 Top/bottom meaning exacltly where?

this might help: http://562.50megs.com/VBS1/res/ACU.rar

Hehe you need to get out more, the basic training unit had them yesterday, and have seen them in regular line units.

Okay, check your head, the M4A1 is the full auto version of the M4, which has Safe-Semi-Burst. Doubt me? Join the US Army. And not all Support units still use M16A2s, combat units that don't have A4s still use the A2. Matter of fact, the two NG units I worked with before rotating out had M16A4s and M4 with rail systems (with some A2s sprinkled here and there), so whatever point you're making, is ill-informed.

Too bad you are 100% wrong   Sorry, couldn't resist HAHA http://www.colt.com/mil/M16_2.asp  AVAILABLE MODELS RO901 : Flat top, Safe/Semi/Full Auto RO905 : Flat top, Safe/Semi/Burst RO701 : Fixed handle, Safe/Semi/Full Auto RO705 : Fixed handle, Safe/Semi/Burst True, but what's issued is the ones with the burst fire function, not Full Auto.  Remember it's like the belief that everybody in the Army uses M4A1s, which only SF does, and uses the standard M4. And to go with the motion that have two seperate uniforms, BDU and ACU, and why it's such a debate on weapons is pointless, not all units have A4s and still soldier on with A2s, (and not everybody surely does not have ACUs as well, the majority who do have ACUs are incoming Recruits, they get full issue when they come in, and MCSS is starting to sell them, and it's hard to get the right size too, so you have to order online) so include both and be done with it.

After running a test for a mission, I realized that the target color isn't good for desert terrain, so I just did this: Only thing is I don't know the dude's name who did the original range as it's for a clan mod really, as well as the Terrorists

Qual Range Re-Texture (Okay just the targets)

Thanks! -
Well with the M4/M16s you have no choice since the front sight post is fixed. But it's all a matter of preference. Me, since I'm used to that, I would probably have it up, but more than likely it would be down.

co-witness with what?

Well, I rolled with an Aimpoint constantly in Iraq, and don't know who did that study, because the joker performed great in rooms and other sorts of tight places. Â And I've fired plenty of rounds at less than 25m (quick fire drills and the such) Â and never had an accuracy problem, so it's a matter of preference, and the Aimpoint is more compact too. Â Plus using the ACOG at 25m isn't recommended.. I'm sure this is just a misunderstanding, but the EOTech sight and ACOG sight are completely different. Yes, I do know the difference between all three sights, I am in the US Army, and have used all three sights on occasion (the EoTech and ACOG on ranges). Note that the Aimpoint is also easy to use with NVGs. The first is the on/off switch, the next four settings are NVG settings, while the last five are day settings. Also, it depends on where you place your sight to get the best vision. I had it just forward of the slip ring, and liked it much better due to the wider field of view. There is no "standard" spot to mount an Aimpoint. Just as long as you remember where you zeroed it, the same goes for the EoTech, and to an extent the ACOG. So yes, you misunderstood what I said.

B 1/40 FA (BCT) Fort Sill, 13F I'm in training to become a Drill Sergeant, but right now it's not looking good due to PT right now.

Same thing when I was in sector. When they did dismount missions, they put on the BDUs, then wore DCUs on regular patrol. Oh yeah, they wore woodland camoed IBAs, so it didn't matter if you wore an orange jumpsuit, they could still see you. But I started wearing the ACUs today though, stringy but comfortable..
-
Haha, got some jokers today, thanks...

Speaking of wprtool, where is a good tutorial on it?
-
Shouldn't this topic be in Addon and Mods: Complete anyways? But yeah Jackal326, it's just something you need a battle buddy to help provide cover, as you're gonna need both hands..

You don't understand. ANY CUSTOM units ANYWHERE will affect Mercs1. That's the problem I had until I had to move some custom stuff into another folder that wasn't "active" so it would show properly.
-
The problem is alot of custom faces, geometries, etc. I had a similar problem in VBS1. Why hers is so touchy on that subject, I couldn't tell you and I'm not sure if she knows herself. You may try a seprate mod folder, but in any case, you may have to move any custom unit packs into a seprate folder, and activate/deactivate them as needed

Thanks, though somehow it started with IE, and it decided to die last night. I mean, right now it's not a total blow since I've stopped the project, but some other ones had the base PSDs, and that's the killer, the original stuff.
-
Well, due to some issues, I had to reformat my laptop HD. And.... yep, I lost EVERYTHING (a good load of stuff). So right now I don't have crap as far as anything relating to gaming, a whole lot of stuff. The bright side? There's copies on my PC at home (which I'm away from, natch) so all isn't lost.
-
It's not, I own VBS1, and the amount of user made maps is staggeringly low compared to OFP, which is why I asked if it was in OFP. And believe me, I would have picked up on the map because I have all of them
-
This in OFP? If so that's pretty cool man...
-
Hehe, yeah, as targets
-
lol.. but I did some voice work for Sniperwolf572, so when Merc1 gets released for OFP, his little mission will have my voice in it.

For those who will actually bother me, just note that I only have the UD-4L and M577. Neph does too, but keep in mind that I have MSN, or Yahoo, as the file is 20MB or so, and can't upload it to my site (or I would link it whoever requested it), but neph's guidance still stands, I'm not going to get it to just anybody now..
