oh and as the topic bit got cut off, what it said was: Whichever plane gets the most votes, i'll make, and probably in descending order ill make the next ones until i run out of time or start something else -
wouldnt the enemy see the smoke and be gone by the time the artillery hits?

You'll see that the planes are all Close Air Support and Battlefield Interdiction Fighters, and predominately western planes, this is because i cant find any eastern ground attack planes, there is no point making screamingly fast jet fighters as it just doesnt work in the game, any of these planes with a very high speed i will cap so they stay CAS planes and dont turn into interceptors -

ok ill concentrate on this at the minute, i also want to do the rest of the american 'a' series planes so this will be good training (and it was used by the british, which is always good)

i was thinking maybe a hurricane as ive seen video clips of them in ww2 taking out tigers with (whatever inch) rockets they use

ill go through it and replace the model parts with lower polygon replacements

ill have another go at it soon, i might do a ww2 fighter first though, not many polys and i can do it for the resistance

i just looked and i think i may need to change a few things i got 8184 polygons....i think that might be a bit too much, anyone know the average poly count of a vehicle in ofp?

This is what i want to be on it and ive put pylons on for: 2 AAM mounted on pylons on top of the wing 2 AGM mounted on pylons underneath the tip of the wing 10 Small AP Bomb's 4 Pylons for Larger bombs/more missiles may not be entirely accurate but its what ive set out

the uh-60 was in the demo, bis made the demo models one format and the actual game models another format, the format we can edit at the minute is MLOD, ODOL can not be edited

i think the best way to simulate vstol would be with the helicopters 'autohover' function, im not sure how you would write that in

i just had a quick look through the config.bin and theres no vstol there (i checked all the vehicles) youre going to need a very very good .cpp'er for this to work
