actually the whole base model is only 1500 polys i wanted to keep it down so the different versions can have elaborate details

you are better off starting from scratch, as now oxygen is out .p3d edited models dont look good

they were only quick wheels i put on to judge where to put the rest of the stuff, at the minute thats around 2000 polys so i think i have enough to do it again and im not sure how it will fire, ill have to have a think and get a good .cpp'er to help me out, i dont want it to fire like the m101a1 as thats just a tank cannon, and if i can ill see if i can add more than one person so the gun has a 'crew'

right now, one im making the base model of the LAV so i can then build the different versions up from it

these are simple models im making in 3ds max, i want to leave all the details till i get oxygen as im not sure what its capable of yet, and im going to go over the whole models replacing the parts that arent good enough

i dont think giving a plane a weapon that requires a script to work is a good idea

well ive put a minigun on a blackhawk, i just need oxygen to arrive and ill put it ingame, i also finished the m60 version

i cant get them perfect until i get them into oxygen

sure, i dont think the mig 17 is going to be very good in the single player aspect of ofp, but dogfighting over the islands is going to be cool, i now have a very good texturer, and a very good .cpp'er helping me so they will all act well

er...looks great...but i zoomed in and saw this: A: the wheels arent up B: that looks doctored somehow, im not any good at that stuff but it definately looks suspect to me :/

im in the process of making two new versions of the blackhawk, one with the m60 and one with a minigun, not huge modifications but i thought that this is what people wanted

heres some pictures of most of my models i think the su-24 and f-111 arent on these... ill post a screenshot of them at the bottom, i now have Lawrie(the guy who made the mig) texturing them for me, he was going to do the migs himself but decided to team up i think the order for the first picture is, from left to right: Pucara, Jaguar, Mig 21, Mig 19, A-4M, Super Etendard, A-6 Intruder, Mig 27, and the YAK 38 Most of the models: Migs on their own: SU-24 and F-111

get ready to vote on monday then(i think) and id never make something like a MIG 25/ F14/ SR-71, the only new plane ive done thats not solely ground attack or old enough to be used in vietnam mods is the super etendard, and i only made it because it completes the aircraft used by the argentinians in the falklands

Right ive, er, done a 'few' more planes, seven to be exact(at last count): MIG 17 Fresco MIG 19 Farmer MIG 21 Fishbed Yak-38 Forger Dassault Super Etendard SU-24 Fencer F-111 i got a bit carried away i think.....

ok its green and not blue :/ i thought that was how the russians showed it was their plane, but i was wrong, anyway im not using those textures as i was just learnign how to texture and i thought you might like to see it
