heres an in work screenshot of what will be my next two models the LHD-1 Wasp and LCAC, the wasp isnt finished by a long way i just put it there for the screenshot so i can show where the LCAC comes from (big hole)

just import the .obj into a 3d program and scale it to whatever size you want

heh you have to wait ages if youve only just signed the form, i signed it 2-3 weeks ago and im a few days away from getting it still

fas.org you should try to get the blueprints of anything you are making and set it as the background, it helps a lot

thanks anyway right now im making the LHD Wasp for tales of war then im going to make an LCAC, im about 50% of the way through the wasp so not ready for screenshots yet, but therell be some soon

erm....to be honest its not great, its good but not what id expect of oxygen the textures on the back of the gun are a bit messed and the actual model doesnt look that much different to a .p3d edited g3 (lost brothers i think)

infact, scrap that, i need blueprints or very good pictures of the LHD-1 Wasp and LCAC (i think you can guess why)

oh and has anyone got any good pictures of american dune buggy's? like the ones used in desert storm

well if bis ever give me oxygen (taking ages ) then ill try and get these out as soon as possible

heres my last model using the pt-76 model as a base(i promise ) it doesnt actually use the pt-76 chassis in real life although it uses one very similar to it, so i thought with a few alterations i can make it look like it 2S1 M-1974 Gvodzika (Carnation) Self Propelled 122mm Howitzer

have you thought about doing a non flash section of your website? as it never loads for me, probably as im on a 56k but im sure you dont want to only have your mod for people with good connections

actually the shilka was a modified pt-76 chassis, i tried to modify the chassis to make the sa-6 vehicle but the model wouldnt let me, so i had to leave it with the pt-76 or model the whole thing which took me around 6-10 hours

heres an in work shot of the sa-6 im making, its not completely accurate as the model wont let me edit it to make the hull the shape of the sa-6 and i dont want to make a completely new model anyway i just need to add a radar and some big rockets

you cant, im not making it, .p3d editing is too much hassle it takes me two weeks to do one model in .p3d editing and ive done a few more in the less than a week since ive had 3ds max :/

then you have no chance with my model, it has none of the blackhawk details to work with and is frankly...ugly :/

im now making the pt-76 for tales of war so i can then make the SA-6 and the FROG 1-5, also the btr 50 and the ot-62 series of apc's they are all based on the chassis of the pt 76
