oh also, theavonlady some people dont have an ofp/addons, only a res/addons, if you install 1.00 and then 1.75 with no upgrades a ofp/addons folder is never made and it all works fine putting them all in one of them, i think its when you start to put half in one and half in the other things start to go wrong...

i did notice one thing, the disembark seems to have been screwed up slightly, if you tell someone to disembark while moving then eject they will jump after you instead of waiting for it to stop, also they jump without parachutes(so they hurtle towards the ground in helis/planes and make pretty red splodges on the ground) its not really a serious bug, but still a bug...

dont you have to buy copyrights? or go through the courts or something? i dont think you can just say 'this is copyrighted', you can probably still stop people from using your model/textures without your permission but no need to say its a copyright...either way, its a shame to hear youre stopping, its a good model/textures even in the 'old' state, there are some programs that can stop stealing, like binarize, or hiding some kind of identification onto the model then binarizing it, then get someone to verify it with a program that can view ODOL's, it doesnt do much in itself but having convincing evidence and showing a few ofp news websites can do a lot, anyway, i hope you reconsider stopping addon making as munger said, you and marine are very talented also if anyone was going to host the old version, they probably would have done it by now -

is that how it works though? i was under the impression the seat detached when it was clear of the aircraft, so the pilot is like he is in ofp, as landing on your arse cant be good....

quakergamer: thats why i said a multiplayer compatible version, so i meant all of those changes and no config changes.... PitViper: i have battlesounds, i was just hoping to find out if DR is as good as everyone says, i think most people wouldnt mind sacrificing the few extra sounds hes added for it to work in multiplayer, either way, its your time so its your decision i just thought it would be good to have it where theres no messing about between .exe's and seeing the sounds used in multiplayer

er, sabot is a weapon round...some machineguns can fire sabot rounds...although i think this one is firing HE

yeah ive just seen the lods....im guessing you forgot to binarize it...you definately need a couple of new models in there, going from 4000 to 200 with such a large gap between lods will hamper its use with more than one or two edit: im writing out the a10 lod resolution/vertice counts for you, will take a couple of minutes resolution/polygon count 0.750 1006 1.500 705 2.000 470 4.000 251 7.000 124 11.000 107 15.000 50 obviously it will be different for the f-15 now, as peoples computer specs are now better, but this is still roughly what you should be sticking to to allow everyone to play with a decent frame rate -

i think its a cfgmodels problem, well actually a hw t&l problem, but cfgmodels will fix it
