    Hi there

    After buying the game and trying to run it on my lousy computer, I finally gave up and bought this mid-end computer instead. I'm interested in knowing if I can be able to play the game smoothly - highest resolution isn't required though: Just gameplay :D. Regards:

    Just did a very small video showing how AI handles the transition between SAFE state and COMBAT behaviour. It's just a 30 secs. feed showing an AI patrol spotting enemy, running into cover and firing some shots. Notice the usage of hand signals.

    Sorry for vid/audio quality, i'm no way an expert.

    I pitty the c0w who eats the tarmac - that's simply outragious, and I demand a patch right away!! :p

    i set them all on very high to prove a point, i usually play with the video memory set to "default", and theres no difference in graphical appearance. something that is interesting is that setting the resolution on 640x480 doesnt look much different than 1280x1024, although the ui gets huge. in fact, it pretty much all looks the same unless i have 200% fillrate, in which case some of the jagged edges go away. the textures look the same no matter what i do with the settings :(.

    Hav u tried setting the memory to low? And maybe restarting the game?

    Try switching the SLi rendering mode to AFR 2, Alternate Frame Rendering 2.

    I do believe this worked for ArmA, or perhaps it was SFR (Split frame rendering).

    8800GTX SLi works fine with AFR2 on my end though..

    You could also just try renaming the .exe to crysis.exe

    It happens in all renderring modes.

    Hi there

    I'm getting massive flickering when SLI is enabled and it is unplayable... It seems to be flickering propertional with the amount of water is visible on the screen?!!

    Anyway - it is impossible to play as it is impossible to see anything on the screen :(.

    My setup is 2* Geforce 7600GT with the latest driver (185.xxx) and windows 7.

    Will we see proper SLI support for arma2?

    Yeah, animals are playable. Should make for some fun MP modes. :)

    Btw. Espectro, I distinctly remember you having a cow avatar before the forums were migrated... and now you're asking about playing cows and "making them moo" (;)). It may have been a different Espectro on a different forum, but I must ask: what is it with you and cows? :D

    On a related topic, the first thing I will do this afternoon is place some cows in the editor and see how they react to people, vehicles, loud noises and getting shot in the face.

    I just like c0ws, they are the most indifferent species on this planet - and for that I respect them :D.

    Btw. Placebo, whenever you come across this thread - how much do you take to get the old member-captions back? (Senior Member sounds so.... Old, I like Evil m00-c0w better :D)

    Hi there

    When I try updating serverlist, nothing appears in my listing?? It worked earlier (also with 1.15), so I don't understand what's causeing this besides some gamespy server error?? The game DO connect with some server, cause I still get the "Patch 1.14 patch available" bug message when I click multiplayer.

    All filters are off.

    Remember that the prices showed ealier in $ was without taxes.

    In Euro they are forced (by law) to include taxes (15%) on all price listings.

    Norway has no taxes on digitaly distributed software (yet).

    Nomatter how you look at it, Steam was roughly the same price as retail before the currency switched, now its a rip-off. In Norway anyway.

    I know it's still crappy, but as no one else had mentioned, I assumed not everyone knew that they couldn't compare the prizes directly for the countries in EU.

    Butts is the protected target end of the range, they're getting less common now, what with electronic target ranges taking over, but they are still common.
