Player Espectro was kicked due to vote Well, the important thing is, that it says your kicked, and not just "disconnected" Its kinda sad when you think some1 is just kicking you of in a Clan War, because the players are winning. I must agree with Worldorder. Armourdave, i feal sickening when i see you stabbing a such great project down. I tryed the first demo (when it was called Dune mod), and i can only say i was totally stunned. His artellery was impressive too. I dont know about the legal issues, but if they tryed to contact BIS, and BIS didnt react, its BIS own fault. Furthermore, as worldorder said... I dont think they are doing anything ilegal, and if they fail to see that work like this is only supporting their game and gives more customers and bigger community, théy are really shooting their own foot.... Afterall, you need to BUY ofp to play this mod. Goetterfunke, im impressed with your work, and i hope that a little childlish discussion from a moderator on these forums wont stop you from continue your work.... The community is behind you.

Im afraid to install this... Does any1 installed it with a terratec xfire 1024 with winxp? I think the problem is that winxp enable EAX by default, so its not possible to turn it off´... But maybe the terratic control panel can turn it off?

My terratec soundcard (dmx xfire 1024) works fine. Although when i enable hardware acc and eax it screws up (in winxp). But then this guy told me that its because windows XP enable it by default. So im happy. This soundcard supports: EAX Sorround sound Optical line out Optical line in 2 CD line in 1024 tracks (as per name) And its really good. (Well at least i think so), but then again, i had this crappy onboard card before, so i cant really compare to sb live etc.

When you get the new way of comunication ready, will you make it open so join in progress is available. 1 more ting that could be good was, that instead of crashing, the client would be able to download addons (maybe below 500 kb) from the server.
