The aliens look a little small.

There's going to be a lot of new shit and god-like FLIR optics and homing missiles which is probably gonna turn a lot of people off and some people will love it.

Scripting commands you want in a future patch
Dead3yez replied to celery's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - SUGGESTIONS
quick thought. _Killedmen = advScore unitName select 0; //(advanced score) to return individual scores [Men,Light,Heavy,Air] -
At the end of the day, if you don't want people to have your information then don't give it. If you don't want facebook to have your phone number or address, then don't give it. The problem is when things start to get intrusive by taking your phone numbers and adresses etc without "consent" such as the mobile FB app that was taking people's phone numbers with very sketchy fine print written on the terms and conditions. Also, following which websites people are browsing... I don't want FB to know about all the child pornography I've been searching. Facebook has also done a lot of good too. Police have caught a lot of criminals because of facebook and other social networking sites with the information that they can share.

Like I said, using crosshairs can make things harder at close range as opposed to switching off floating zone for a second and approximating the centre of the screen for your point of aim. The purpose of toggle would give you a gain of perspective for such close range encounters etc to that we have in real life (Proprioception + General 3D perspective). One of the things I didn't mention before is that it's easier to align scoped weapons before you go into optics without floating zone. :j: I know how to look around. What I was talking about was aiming my weapon without moving my body.

Toggle would be nice. When you join a server which has crosshairs set off, it really makes it hard to judge where you are shooting (close quarters when no time to aim, or aiming can make it harder). And, just feels nice in general. Hitting a guy at 15 meter with floating on can be hard, without it's center screen always to very easy, which is useful for closer encounters.

So, what can BIS actually sue for? The mis-information that claiming it was real footage when it wasn't? Or, using a 20 second clip of user-made video from a crappy cellphone or something. There are many TV shows and many games which have been shown on television, even if they are just being played in the background. Does a game company sue each and every time footage of their game was used on TV?

I can't imagine anyone in charge of picking videos to be so stupid... lol.

Scripting commands you want in a future patch
Dead3yez replied to celery's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - SUGGESTIONS
Hasn't for me. I've had problems setting texture with the Russian Spetznas units. I wanted them to have a custom camo for a mission. ;) Also it makes scripting much more accessible and sense to complete scripting newbies. How to set height is one of the most frequently asked questions and this could provide simple answers / make it easy for lazy people. -
YES... I SEE IT NOW...... "Assassinate the Mayor" ...... This is one of the first missions I am going to make in ArmA III. Special forces team including Maruk, Suma, Ivan... etc etc. ;) :D

That's what I was thinking.

Here are my suggestions off the top of my head: _unit setHeight Number - Quick, easy, simple. rotSpeed _unit - IE returns a value for the velocity/rate of spin [X,Y,Z] (or [X,Z,Y]?).. rather than trying to calculate it based on time / vector (vectordir etc.) setRotSpeed _unit - Allows you to add "spin" :) _array setSide "West" - Sets side of unit(s) -
OMG YES! Memories. b7YQ3wSZqYY The controls where just as like real life. I went to digger land (a theme park where you get to drive diggers) when I was young, and because i spent a crap load of hours on "power diggerz" operating the real thing was like second nature. rofl.

Chat system - killing reports reposition
Dead3yez replied to VampyricTyrant's topic in ARMA 3 - GENERAL
Showing what weapon you were killed by in ArmA would broadcast far too much tactical information that you or either team can take advantage of. Especially in PvP. -
Thanks for informing. Gonna check this out.

Shoadows at distance problem needs to be fixed in arma 3.
Dead3yez replied to Tom1's topic in ARMA 3 - GENERAL
Setting the shadow distance could be a nice option. Esp for lower end PCs. It's always nice to see shadows on objects around you, if not at distance. As for grass layer, I agree it needs to be improved. It just looks stupid right now, needs some transparency. Too many times have I often been shot by AI laying in the open with only the tops of their heads showing. -
What negative uses?

It's a little sad how I seem to know more about American politics than my own countries politics. Maybe because America's news/media/politics seems to be better infotainment. I can name about twice as many American politicians than British ones. :D I basically started following American politics a little after Obama became elected. I was convinced by the lefties that maybe he was the right choice. Now, obviously I knew he couldn't fulfil all his promises, but you know.. He said a lot of things that kind of made sense. Now... What? He's a liar. There's no politician that isn't.. But he's got to be the most deceiving. Why would America continue to trust this man in charge of their country after increased military deployment and the healthcare gimmick (for example)? The "Oh, in his second term he will do stuff" excuse will not pass with me. If he were to do stuff that he was elected for then he would have done it already. Stop giving yourself false hope. The lesser of the two evils... That may have been true back in '08 when Sarah Palin was running for VP.

What good reason do you have do deny this technology from developing?

What weapons/vehicles would you like to see in ArmA 3?

Serious post now. I think this would fit in the ArmA 3 scene very nicely. GpUfZvzH2Xc -

I searched for more information, but the best I could find was a video of a lab in tokyo. But nothing from berkeley. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x8x53n_japanese-mind-reading-technology_news Information from the ORIGINAL source: https://sites.google.com/site/gallantlabucb/publications/nishimoto-et-al-2011 Why would they make it up? Perhaps they need some funding? I'm not saying it is fake... Just sceptical.
