He's taking about the flight model. Each helicopter shares the same flight model (base). He is suggesting that sripts are necessary to implement a more accurate flight model for the Kamovs (coaxial rotors) - this was done in ArmA.

Selling Mods and Scripts for Profit

Against it. A system in place that allows addon makers to sell their addons means less addons publicly available due to people wanting to make profit. It's not good for the community or having legal issues put on BIS. -

Why so negative? Snow falling was done in ArmA and already in ArmA2. check here for example: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=arma+snow Snow covering the ground as it falls is different, but still possible. The engine shows holes, grenade craters? Why not snow texture as well? Obviously it's not going to be easy to do, but im certain it's possible. -
Mod folders are so hard... I can't: 1. Create a folder and another one inside it 2. Move a file(s) inside them 3. Type -mod=@mods on the end of the target line in my arma2 shortcut or Move files into the addons folder.

It is possible to detect 200FPS, even compared to 60FPS and your monitor may be 60Hz. These people are indeed the gifted as they have very acute senses. FPS counters take the average/exact amount of frames over a given period time, frames are not fed through the screen at a constant rate, each frame hangs depending on the stress of the system. If you have a Monitor of 60Hz and you have frames which are hanging over 16.7milliseconds (1Hz) then yes, technically it is 'noticeable' (not sure on the threshold etc of the monitor as to which frame it will take). If you have an FPS of 60, then there is a good chance there is going to have more than a few hanging frames whilst, shorter frame times are making up for the average FPS count (but you cannot see most of these frames because of the monitors refresh rate). If your framerate is higher then there is less chance of hanging frames. People do not see over 60Hz (in this case), but they see a more fluid video output the higher the FPS due to less hanging frames with higher FPS. (finally edited it right) tired :D

PM sent. Share me some of your tips. ;) I'm currently working on some scripts which dramatically improve the handling and behaviour of cars, implement gear shifting, nos.. etc etc... However, they are still in very much WIP. Anyway, this EVO looks like the perfect candidate to release these awesome scripts with. I am aiming to create a set of scripts for Rally, Street Racer, and possibly even Drift classes. @Blondak If you are interested, send me a PM. If not, I'd like to ask for permission to use your EVO as a required addon once it is released and once/if I get mine released. -

(diagonal sprint, can't tell, but in ArmA1, sprinting diagonal never made your man slow down from getting tired and allowed you to look behind you. hint hint ;) ) Sprint - Wx2 Run - W Crouched Run - W Walk and Aim - W whilst looking down sight (rightclick / num0) Walk Slow / whilst aiming - W + Shift Crouched Slow - W + Shift (may be same as above, not sure) Crawl (may be same as above) Crawl Slow Super Slow creep /w joystick etc

First of all, nice work. Good to see someone beat my laziness to it. :D Once I get my PC back up and running then I can spend some time working working with FPShelper. I will be happy to check out what is going wrong / if something is going wrong when I can. -

Why are you concerned about what other people think is the best anyway? Even IF you did not download them and try them at least you went and had a look at some videos so that you got an idea of what they sound like. This is all a matter of personal preference. Every soundmod has an inconsistancy with everyones likes (for example, soundmod X has a better AK sound than Y, but X's m16 sound maybe total crap compared to Y in your opinion), therefore you have to come to some kind of compromise over which you think as a whole is better than the other. My interperation of the word best in your question is favourite, hypothetically speaking this is similar to asking everyone what their favourite music is, what would this achieve? Are you a mainstream guy and like to listen to what everyone else listen's to because it's the 'cool' thing to listen to nowadays? Please, elaborate. Anyways, I have nothing more pointless anymore to rant about. Check my sig, you will find another sound mod which is also in these forums.
