  1. Some will say you are but I say your'e not!

A E8500 along with a Geforce GTX 275 should have no problems running ArmA II (at reasonable resolutions).

I have less machine and it works fine here on Windows XP at high settings. I do suffer from some lag and LOD issues in the bigger villages as many others do but I'm sure that will improve with future patches.

    /KC

Im running at 1680x1050, maybe that is the problem??

  2. After a few minutes of gameplay the screen wiull turn black and i can only see the mouse if i hit esc.

If i hit alt+tab a yellow warning will appear in the windows tray.

Im using brand new 275gtx vista 64 186.18 drivers

It is not power related im using a hx750 watts corsair supply with direcct modular connectors from the supply unit to the graphics card

  3. Found out the problem, if you wait at the FOB, NAPA guys find you and basically procede the mission. SPOILER: You are never meant to get to the southern city. Basically you get the decision to either go find the CDF or NAPA for further help. This misison seams to be the fork in the road of the campaign.

    What is fob?? manhattan?

I obviously get the hummer and go to the extraction point which is 9 kms away.

And i always get destroyed by invisble rocket soldiers or invisible snipers.

Well, I dunno for other people, but I know for me, the frustrating part about the mission was not a bug, but simply the auto-death trigger that they use if you try to drive directly to Elektrowhatever. I tried to drive the Hummer directly there after the Simmons death scene/NAPA guys, but kept getting blown up by a mysterious rocket about halfway there. The fourth time, I figured out that it was probably auto-death because the Hummer blew up, but behind the "Revert/Teamswitch" screen, I saw the rest of Razor team get out of the blown-up car. :P Later the Novy Sobor guys weren't helpful (because they won't talk to you before 5:00), so I drove an APC there and kept getting killed by a machine gun.

It's simply bad game design. If you didn't help some random priest in the mission before, then the mission is literally just "wait until 5:00, then drive here". Except that they don't tell you that until 5:00, they tell you to get to a place that you can't get to and then magically kill you when you try to go there. At least make it believable - would it have been that difficult to have roving helicopters and lots of enemies in the south? Don't just kill me on a random road in the middle of nowhere - give me a valid reason to believe I should be afraid.

    ok thankyou

  4. C2DE8500 at 3.8 ghz

    4 gb ddr2 800 ram

    Gts8800 512 mb ram

I have to set everything in very low if i want decent fraps.

Its a pitty because this is trully a good game.

They have really twekead the soliders maneurability and unlike Arma in which it sucked, you know actually run, and move smoothly.

I have a 2.3ghz quad-core cpu, with 4gb of ddr2 ram, and vista 64bit and the game doesnt run "great" :(

For people running great is playing from 15 to 25 fps. With vsync off, no aa and a lot of features not in high.

  5. Why not release the D on torrent??

That way many of us spaniardas can also enjoy the game

The game has been delayed to 25.

"- a new grafik engine whould just be urgent!" what ? the graphics are great what are you talking about ?

If you are unhappy about bugs, wait to play the campaign for now and just have fun with the editor and multiplayer

    It lacks improved pyhiscs.
